You will watch most of the Spanish directors acclaimed movie. Make sure you dont miss the introduction, as it will have the answer to one or two questions in the final.

Your job is to pick three (3) 12-count forms and three other forms and do a review of them. In your objective arguments, you should point out the performance forces at work. There will be quite an emphasis on Cante Hondo (deep singing), which portrays the singer as if possessed by the Flamenco soul of the elf (duende). As this is an acquired musical taste, be objective and put yourself in the shoes of someone who grew up in this musical soundscape as you present your views on the performance.
