New Flame-Resistant Styles for Fall 2012The demand for FR is growing fast, and so is Carhartt’s assortment. Created in response to requests in the market, these brand new styles come in addition to those in our 2012 Flame Resistant Catalog. Among them, you’ll find:

New Dual-Hazard FR Knit Shirts Meeting the performance requirements of NFPA 70E/HRC 2 standards and UL® Classified to NFPA 2112, Carhartt’s new flame-resistant Work-Dry® knits work as hard for electrical utility crews as they do for oil and gas workers. Offered in five different styles, these dual-hazard knits are sweat wicking, too, for dryer days at work.

New Flame-Resistant RainwearOffered in a jacket and bib overall, Carhartt’s new flame-resistant rainwear protects workers from wet weather and multiple risks including electric arc, flash fire and chemical splash. Adhering to the performance requirements of ASTM F2733 for flash fire, they feature 3M™ Scotchlite™ Reflective Material for greater visibility.
