The scope of the project involved designing of test fixtures for 22 different sizes of

elastomeric S-seals (ranging from 1-13/16” to 32”), writing test protocol in accordance

Project Duration: Oct-2013 to Jan-2015

Project Overview:

The scope of the project involved testing of four connectors viz., 7-1/16” Speedloc – I,

13-5/8” Speedloc –I, 7-1/16” Speedloc – II and 13-5/8” Speedloc – II connectors for

surface equipment connections. The connectors were tested by strain gauging them at

various locations and exposing them to structural/bending tests as per API 17G and

performance rating test as per API 6A and API 17D endurance testing.

The scope of the project involved designing a connector for surface equipment to

Project Duration: Feb-2013 to Dec-2013

Project Overview:

The scope of the project involved designing the interface between emergency

disconnect package (EDP) and lower riser package (LRP). The manufacturing and

functional testing for the connector was done in FMC Houston, while the full

extended test (as per API 6A, API17D and FMC Extended cycles for the dual bore

gaskets) was carried out in FMC India’s laboratory.
