and courses that are planned or in progress

From the pop-out menu on the left side of the Home Screen, click Post-Secondary:

individual institutions is that you can apply filters such as High School Planner, Province &

City, Institution, and so on you can search Apprenticeship opportunities, programs at

colleges and universities and workplace opportunities by keyword as you browse the

different post-secondary opportunities. The planner summarizes important details about

the program including cost for first year and entrance requirements, and provides a link

to the application and to the institution website, as well as links to similar programs

This is a critical section, and one that you may have many questions about; contact your

counsellor to discuss further

You must “Favourite” at least ONE opportunity (click on the opportunity, then click on

the HEART to add it to your Favourites)

Page 14: Career Life Connections Student Guide 2020 · 2019. 9. 13. · Your hobbies, pastimes, or interests f. What is your greatest strength, and what area you would like to work on? g

previous sections (estimated time to complete will vary, generally 20-40 minutes)

education requirements, videos by people working in the field, and more.

This is a critical section, and you may end up revisiting the Post-Secondary Planner after

researching Occupations. That’s OK!! Again, please see your counsellor with questions
