 Besides passing the exams, students are also required to satisfy the practical

experience requirement of 36 months in any suitable finance/accounting related position. This can be undertaken at any time  –   before, after or even during the

 period the student is studying and appearing for his/her examinations. On

satisfying both the examination and practical experience requirements the studentwill be awarded ACCA membership and he/she becomes an ACCA (AssociateChartered Certified Accountant). Subsequently it is possible to convert associate

membership to fellowship (referred to as FCCA  – Fellow Chartered Certified

Accountant).

The courses in India are run as an extension of PFT operations in the Middle

East, where we are the only Platinum approved Training provider. Our UK

style courses are run by trained tutors (some of who are tutors at our head office

in Dubai and fly out for our courses every month). Since PFT began offeringcourses in India, it has run standard block format and owing to student demands presently operates it courses out of Cochin. Courses for the June 2015 ACCA

exams will be held at Cochin from mid-Feb 2015 (exact dates depend on the

 papers chosen). Further improving upon the quality of technology used in

delivery, PFT will continue to use state-of-art technology for its distance-contact sessions combined with the time-tested regular face-to-face course

Register as ACCA student or FIA student? –  eligibility requirement

If you have passed Grade XII or the equivalent with 5 exam passes (including English and Accountancy

or Mathematics) with at least 65% in 2 subjects and 50% in the remaining subject, then you are eligiblefor direct entry into ACCA professional qualification.

If you are a graduate from a recognized university you are eligible for direct entry to the ACCA professional qualification with exemptions (Generally 3 to 4 papers are exempted for graduates although

depending on the university and degree the exemptions awarded may vary and is subject to ACCA

confirmation)

If you do not meet the criteria above, you may register yourself using the FIA (Foundation in

Accountancy) route and purse the ACCA qualification.

 Note: Once registered with ACCA, students may pursue up to a maximum of 4 papers per semester. Nominimum number of papers to be taken up each semester.

A) Tuition and revision fee payable to PFT –  Fees per paper is mentioned in

the enrolment form and is based on the duration of each course. It includes the

fee for face-to-face tuition classes, interactive web based classroom training,full day revision classes and mock exams as well as UK published course

material, revision kit, pocket notes and online practice test access.
