• Students across Kentucky are now required to complete an Individual Learning Plan (ILP).

• The ILP is completed by using Career Cruising

• It begins in 6th grade and continues through high school

• You can even use it throughout college!

– On your ILP Homepage under Quick Links click on Things to Remember and read the information

– At the bottom of that page click on About the ILP and read the instructions

– Go back to your Homepage and click the blue Career Cruising and click Career Matchmaker

– Click the grey New Matchmaker Session button in the middle

– Answer All Questions and click Review My Answers to update your choices

– Always click SAVE TO MY ILP– Review your TOP 40 careers listed

What are your top career matches?

• Click on your top four careers from the 40 listed and SAVE TO MY ILP

• Review each of the careers finding out what the job description is, earnings, education required, etc….

• Complete the graphic organizer that you will get from the teacher

How do you save your results?

• Click on the SAVE TO MY ILP button near the bottom of the menu on the right hand side of the page

• Click a check mark on Yes, I have reviewed and revised this portion of my ILP, click OK

• Click save again which will begin the completion process of your ILP

• Continue to complete tabs listed on slide 7 and sub buttons

• Click Logout on your ILP homepage at the end of class before you log off your computer
