A Note From Our Administrator Happy Holidays!
It is the most wonderful time of year! The
holidays are a time when we all get to spend
time together as family and friends! We have
all developed a type of family bond here at
Sandhills Care Center, and it is very warm
and inviting! This holiday season we all have
a lot to be grateful for under this roof, and we
wouldn’t be where we are today without the
support and love from the community,
etc. Please take the time to come and visit us
this holiday season, and partake in the annual
Christmas event we have on December 22nd!
Merry Christmas, and Happy New Year!
New Whirlpool Bathtub and
New Services to Offer!
Santa came a little early at the Sandhills Care
Center this year! Thanks to the many
generous donations of gracious community
members, the residents have had the pleasure
of enjoying this brand new whirlpool
bathtub! A few things to highlight about the
tub are that it blows warm air, it takes less
time to fill up than the old one, and there is a
heated seat too! The residents absolutely love
this new bathtub and is a GREAT addition to
the facility!
New Service Offered by Sandhills Care

Christmas Time Reminder from
Social Services
Christmas time is right
around the corner! We
know that families and
friends might be think-
ing about bringing in
Christmas gifts for their
loved ones. It might be a good idea to check
to see what they might need. This could be a
new blanket, new sweaters, a decoration for
their rooms...the possibilities are endless! If
you are stuck and not knowing what to get,
you might ask a staff member to see if they
have any ideas! You could ask any of the
nursing staff or social services and we can
give you some ideas or suggestions to get
just the right gift!
On another note, the holidays also bring lots
of goodies and treats. You are more than
welcome to share them with your loved one,
but it might be a good idea to check portions
and see if they will actually eat them! We
hate to waste and throw away yummy treats,
but sometimes when
they sit too long we
must! So just check
before hand when
bringing something in
or just cut back a little
on what you all bring
in!
Happy Holidays!
