Care & Use of Your Diapers PRE-WASH ALL BABYBOMS BEFORE USE. (warm/hot wash, tumble dry, no fabric softener.) BRIGHT COLORS MAY TRANSFER to white items (e.g. white diaper covers) if washed together during initial washes. Exercise color separation in laundering as you would when washing normal clothing. Fitted Diaper 1. Fold front of diaper in toward baby to down size, fasten hook tabs to the loop fabric “V” once diaper is adjusted. Be sure to fasten tabs in a horizontal manner, and not at an angle parallel to the “V”. Check to see if you have fastened the diaper so that the leg holes are closed around baby’s legs. After Soiled 1. Fold in laundry tabs (hook tab sticks to loop rectangle- essential to keep hook tabs clean!) 2. Dispose solids into toilet, flush 3. Place diaper in wet or dry pail (wet pail should consist of water and an antibacterial agent such as white vinegar, approx. 2 tbs, NO BLEACH) To Wash 1. Empty pail contents into washing machine (if using wet pail empty water into machine also, spin one cycle before starting wash cycle) 2. Machine wash warm or hot with detergent. No fabric softener, color safe bleach if desired. Added rinse cycle is sometimes desired. 3. Tumble dry normal until diapers are completely dry. Diaper Cover 1. Adjust cover before putting it on the baby. Check for proper fit in leg area and Make sure the diaper is inside the cover. If leg openings are not snug, size down the cover instead of tightening by pulling tabs. To Wash: Follow normal wash/dry instructions for all BabyBoms diapers and covers. Helpful hints Check waist and leg area for proper fit. BabyBoms are made to fit on a baby the way underwear would; below the belly button and at the bottom of the lower back. Folding even an inch of the diaper in toward on an older baby will ensure the diaper is inside the cover and aid in Baby’s comfort.
