Greetings and Ιnvitationby the president of the meeting
Dear colleagues,
On behalf of the Organizing Committee, I welcome you to the 4th International Meeting of the Hellenic Society of Nuclear Medicine in Thessaloniki, Macedonia, Greece on 7-9 November 2008.
The organizers are pleased to introduce to you a program of more than twen-ty six original articles, presented by distinguished colleagues. Confirmative re-search, educational presentations and workshops are included in the program. We hope that you will enjoy the discussions throughout the Meeting. There will be awards to the best original, research and educational presentations. A sepa-rate program will be held for Technologists.
This Meeting aims to encourage competition without commercialization so that scientists working on related research subjects could compete for the best.
In our time, although some physical exercise is necessary for all, mental com-petition is what it counts. The present Meeting is held in a City lying opposite to the historic Mt. Olympus. Mt. Olympus is about 90 km far and can be seen from the seaside of Thessaloniki often covered with snow. All special characteristics of our present Meeting mentioned above: Scientific competition, broad medi-cal participation and working close to Mt. Olympus, add to our proposal to call this Meeting: A Preliminary Medical Olympics Meeting.
We look forward to seeing you in the charming city of Thessaloniki.
