PUBLIC SPEAKING ZONE FINALS

Congratulations to the following students who

represented Cardiff North at the Zone public

speaking finals:

Early Stage 1: Toby P and Harry E

Stage 1: Lucy W and Mary H

Stage 2: Kiarah S and Mackenzie N

Stage 3: Amelia W & Jaxon B

WOOLWORTHS OOSHIES

As some students have been trading Woolworths

Ooshies and Coles Minis without parental

permission, we are banning these from the school

altogether. Please do not allow your child to bring

these items to school.

2020 KINDERGARTEN PARENT INFORMATION SESSION

Parents of children starting Kindergarten next year

are invited to an information session tonight,

Wednesday 14th August, at 6pm in the Library.

MEDICAL ALERT

Please be aware that several of our students have

recently been unwell and have confirmed cases of

Influenza A. They have been kept home during their

period of illness. Please remember to keep your

children at home if they are unwell and seek

medical attention as required.

Zone Athletics Carnival

The official results are in from this year's Zone

Athletics Carnival and in a very close call, Wallsend

South was the winning school and Cardiff North

was the winner of the Small Schools Handicap.

I am very proud to say this is the second year in a

row we have won the handicap. The handicap is a

point system that is used to even the field across

the 17 schools in our zone taking into account the

number of students in the school ( we are one of

the smallest). Also, a special mention to Asamoah

for breaking the existing Zone record for the Senior

1500m with a time of 5.27.96m.
