The Carbonza CardboardChristmas Tree(made from IKEA boxes)
By Cassidy & Darrin
Cut two of these using one as the template.
Then cut another, this time with the slot at the top.
Here are the three sections that will make the branches. They can now be painted green, wrapped
or sprayed with flocking or even gold/silver paint
The two with slots at the bottom are slightly bent to be evenly spread and then slotted in to the other
section.
Make the trunk by cutting 6 slots evenly spaced on a strip of cardboard as wide as the tree and fold to a
hexagon cylinder, allow some overlap to tape.
Optional, find a box or box lid and draw around the trunk and cut out the whole. This can be wrapped in
christmas paper or painted.
Here is the Carbonza Carboard Christmas Tree before painting, we also cut a star with a slot
and covered it with ali foil.
Surprise! here is the tree, looking better than we had planned.
We wish everyone a Merry Christmas& Happy New Year in 2009
