CAR INDUSTRY IN THE PAST

The history of the automobile begins as early as 1769, with the creation of

steam engine automobiles capable of human transport. In 1807, Isaac de

Rivas  designed the first car powered by an internal combustion

engine running on fuel gas (hydrogen and oxygen), which although not in

itself successful, led to the introduction of the ubiquitous modern gasoline or

petrol fueled internal combustion engine in 1885.

CAR INDUSTRY IN THE PRESENT We are in 2014. Whatever people say, cars still keep on running, well anchored on four wheels, and driven by humans using a steering wheel. Notwithstanding design and the ongoing growth of automotive power, basic mechanics are evolving. However, for now, my car does not fly or drive itself, and it generally relies on gas to move forward.

As a whole, the industry is doing pretty well as evidenced by the ongoing consumer infatuation with cars, the consolidated presence of its major players and the wide range of government support extended to help manufacturers and suppliers perfect vehicles that are innovative, ecological and that don’t use much gas.

In addition, we see a speeding-up of that special relationship many people cultivate with this product whose main function is becoming the affirmation of a lifestyle. This external assertion is now combined with a multifunctional interior space, an environment where relaxation, entertainment and work coexist.
