PREFERIRHere we will learn the verb
PREFERIR, which means “to prefer.”
But before we do, let’s look at 2 other verbs like PREFERIR.
QUERER and PENSAR
Querer means… “to want”Pensar means… “to plan” or “to think”
QUERER and PENSAR
Querer and Pensar are “stem-changing” verbs.
They are “e > ie” stem-changing verbs.

Both verbs follow regular “-er and -ar” endings.

QUERER and PENSAR
When forms of QUERER and PENSAR are followed by another verb, the second verb is always in the infinitive.

same way as Querer and Pensar, however it is an “-ir” verb.
Use the endings “o, es, e, imos, ís, en”
