Capital Zeeki offers the following courses in Music at very affordable rates. These include; Piano, Guitar (Acoustic, Electric & Bass), Voice, Violin, Saxophone and Drums. This year, we are pleased to introduce Dance (contemporary & classical) as one of our major courses. All instruments are divided into 12-week modules that are assessed at the end of the course. The assessment is done both in Practical and theory form after which the students are awarded a certificate and academic transcript.
Each unit is designed to cover key elements of Music such as Pitch, Rhythm and Listening Skills (aurals). Our competent teaching staff are keen to always identify the strengths and weaknesses of each child as the lessons progress. At Capital Zeeki, we also register and prepare students for the internationally acclaimed Music exams offered by ABRSM (Associated Board of Royal Schools of Music). The exams are done once a year here in Kenya and registration for the same is currently ongoing as the deadline is 27th January 2017. Someone once said that ☜The Joy of Musicianship is in its Application☝. Thus, we value the need to always give the students a chance to showcase and display their talents via credible events and/or productions. In the month of December last year, Capital Zeeki staged its first Christmas Recital that encompassed performances by the students, teaching staff as well as parents and friends of the school. Events like these afford the students an opportunity to showcase whatever they have learnt during their 12-week course whilst enhancing their stage presence and confidence.
