Membership can also help you prepare to pitch your idea at the Crummer Venture Pitch Competition every spring, where the winner receives $50,000. SOCIETY FOR HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT Students interested in Human Resources can check out SHRM Rollins Chapter, which aims to provide students with the opportunity to gain knowledge and insight into the effective management of human capital in the field of Human Resource Management. Students can also look into GOSHRM, Orlando’s Chapter of SHRM. Beta Gamma Sigma was founded in 1913 as the honor society serving business programs accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business International. Membership to Beta Gamma sigma is the highest recognition students can receive in a program of business. These projects and her internship with Deux Mains have taught her the importance of establishing strong brand identity, a brand’s power to inspire change, and how to use her business and fashion knowledge in a meaningful way.

NEW FACULTYSerina Al Haddad, Ph.D. teaches classes in business statistics and operations management. Before Rollins, she taught classes in business statistics and analytics at Stetson University and UCF. Dr. Haddad has worked in the industry and brings her experience to the classroom.

Dr. Raghabendra Pratap KC, Ph.D., teaches classes in marketing at Rollins College and is an Associate Researcher at the Cambridge Judge Business School. Dr. KC is a partner at Anvaya Consultants and previously served as an academic consultant for commercial and not-for-profit firms in the UK and Nepal.

PEER MENTORSHIP PROGRAMThe Business Peer Mentorship program is a student match-up initiative which 'matches' a junior or senior in theBusiness program to a freshmen or a student interested inpursuing a Business degree. Mentors will provide advice totheir mentees on varying topics, such as the Business andInternational Business major or minor, navigating the 3/2Program, planning class schedules, internship and studyabroad opportunities, GMAT preparation, andextracurriculars specific for business students.
