Designed to consider the need for, and location and timing of, public facilities

Ensures public facilities will be available and adequate to provide acceptable levels of service (LOS)

Ensures that the Comprehensive Plan is financially feasible

ConcurrencyThe premise of concurrency is that public facilities and services will be available concurrent with the impacts of development

Local government sets LOS standards, and concurrency ensures that those LOS standards will be achieved and maintained

Parks and recreation Roads Schools Solid waste Stormwater Water and wastewater

Provide a quantitative tool to analyze the impacts of land use changes

For any facilities required to achieve LOS: Projects in FY1-FY3 must be funded through a
