We are delighted you have chosen to worship God with us today. We hope you
will feel welcome and “at home.”
Our Vision is to be a “biblically functioning community,
unconditionally surrendered to God, andunconditionally devoted to each other.”
Welcome to CCCC!We invite you to continue toshare in our worship services, fellowship, and ministry. Pleasegive us your name, address, andphone number. Any informationyou request will be sent to youin the coming week.
Sermon Notes
Our Worship: We believe “every heart is restless until it finds its rest in God.” In our wor-ship each Sunday we try to refocus on God, believing that with God at our center, the restof life comes into perspective. Worship is giving God the honor and praise He is due. It isalso an act of surrender, allowing God to transform us according to His will. We can watchothers worship, but it only becomes our own worship when we use the different parts of theservice to honor and surrender to God. We invite you to “worship” with us.The Lord’s Supper: We celebrate the Lord’s Supper as modeled by the New TestamentChurch. We would like to invite all believers to join us in this celebration. When theemblems are passed, you may either partake at that time and return your cup to the trayor you may keep them and partake whenever you are ready. You may place your cup in thecup holder in front of you.The Offering: If you are a guest with us this morning, please feel under no obligation to con-tribute to our offering. As members of a church family, our offering is one of the ways weworship God and support the work of the church. As our guests, we would like to serve youthis morning.
Becoming a Christian: The plan of salvation which emerges in Scripture includes believingthat Jesus is Lord, repenting of one’s sins, confessing Jesus before men, and being baptizedby immersion, all of which result in one’s receiving God’s forgiveness and the gift of HisSpirit. Total surrender to God results in true life from God. Any one who would believe andrepent is encouraged to come forward and confess and be baptized. Any believer who hasbeen immersed by another Christian community committed to the deity and Lordship of Christcan transfer their membership to Capital City Christian Church if they desire. If you wouldlike to make Jesus your Lord or join the CCCC Family, we invite you to come forward at theend of our service or talk to one of our staff.A Christian Church: As a non-denominational Christian church we do not believe we arethe only Christians, but we attempt to be “Christians only.” Therefore we desire to makethe Bible our only rule of faith and practice. We want to embody the restoration maxim:“in essentials, unity; in non-essentials, liberty; in all things, love.”

Generous Buckets: This bucket isn’t for your offering. This is for a little extra, just a dol-lar or two, maybe your change. We’ll take the money in these buckets to do something coolfor a church family member or someone in our community. We may purchase wintercoats...pay a bill for a family in trouble...give some help in a medical emergency...fix some-one’s car...help pay for a funeral...or purchase some school supplies. This unique opportu-nity is just an added way to make a difference in someone’s life.
