    Te Sampson LloydTis ormer Lloyds Bank is constructed rom whiteterracotta and red brick, it dates rom 1907 and occupiesa prominent corner site where it serves as a locallandmark.

    Buildings along Cape Hill RoadSeven Stars public house, built c.1900.Barclays Bank dates rom c.1910.Dudley Arms public house, built in 1910.

    Te Victoria Suite

    Tis ormer Rink Cinema is currently a Mecca BingoClub. Te Victoria Suite was built between 1929 and1930 or the Provincial Cinematograph TeatresLimited to the design o William Benslyn.

    St MatthewTis Grade II listed church was designed by JosephJames in the Gothic style and it dates rom 1855. Techurch is constructed rom sandstone walling withlimestone dressings. Te east window contains glass inmemory o Henry Mitchell who died in 1894.

    Cape Primary SchoolCape Primary School opened as a Board school in 1888

    and it was enlarged in 1894 and 1901.Cape HouseCape House stands on the corner o Cape Hill andDurban Road, it was a ormer Birmingham GeneralDispensary and it was constructed in 1907.

    Shireland Language CollegeShireland Language College, ormerly a school, was built

    in 1906 by the Smethwick Education Committee.

    Te Barleycorn Public HouseTe Barleycorn Public House stands on the corner oBearwood Road and Dawson Street. It is a good exampleo a now rare 1930s moderne drinking establishment.

    Bearwood Nursing HomeBearwood Nursing Home at 86 Bearwood Road wasormerly Te British Pen Factory.

    Smethwick Council HouseSmethwick Council House (own Hall) was builtbetween 1905 and 1907 by local architect Frederick Gill.Te Smethwick coat-o-arms over the doorway displaysthe motto Labore et Ingenio (Work and Genius).

    Te Park HotelTe Park Hotel is a public house dating rom c.1900which is notable or the survival o the greater part o itsexternal joinery.
