“We have been very impressed with LGM since procuring them as a vendor. LGM is a professional outfit that provides a quality product on spec and in a timely manner. We have found them to be efficient, reliable and proactive in coming up with solutions for our plant requirements. I have no hesitation in recommending them to other companies.”Maintenance Projects Supervisor, Transfield Worley Power Services
FabricationWith a fabrication division working from fully equipped workshop facilities in Bunbury, LGM Industries services significant clients across a range of sectors, particularly within the resources industry.
We provide a full SMP (Structural, Mechanical & Piping) and tankage installation service, often to difficult and remote sites throughout Western Australia. Both off-site modular construction and site build solutions are employed, depending upon access, production requirements and available logistics.
The business operates from fully equipped workshops with an undercover floor area totalling 2,000 m2. Serviced by overhead gantry cranes, these facilities construct carbon and highly specialised stainless steel fabrications, together with other exotic metal products as required.
LGM Industries’ internal systems include a welding procedure matrix together with welder qualification records to ensure that all necessary standards are met, and that installed elements meet our own strict quality control requirements.
The fabrication division also actively supports the activities of the construction and maintenance divisions, meaning that clients enjoy a rapid turnaround contingency for any unforeseen emergencies.

The company supplies supervised work crews throughout the state, comprising permanent employees with a wide range of expertise, including boilermakers, mechanical fitters, specialised welders, riggers, scaffolders and concrete workers. These can all be deployed at short notice, together with personnel who have appropriate confined space and working at heights certification where required.
In delivering routine, preventative and breakdown maintenance services that integrate seamlessly with clients’ own systems, LGM Industries ensures safe and effective provision within an operating plant environment.
The company has a wealth of experience in the refurbishment and upgrading of existing installed equipment, encouraging innovative salvage solutions to enable the restoration of used assets to near or original condition and specifications.
By undertaking minor capital works and plant repairs, LGM Industries ensures that clients can continue their core business operations with minimal production losses, whilst deferring new asset investment cost to a later period.
I would like to thank the LGM team for
their efforts over the past six months, and
with our shutdown. Both the thickener and
mud belt were completed on time and are
up and running. The standard of work and
effort put in has not gone unnoticed – all
your supervisors and project managers were
easy to work with and went out of their
way to ensure the projects were completed
to a high standard and done safely – this
includes the boiler, oxygen plant works
(tie ins) the stack and D404 tank. Thanks again guys – well done.

SHUTDOWNSEffective and comprehensive management of major plant shutdowns demands an experienced and resourced operator, with access to a wide range of industrial services.
LGM Industries has an enviable reputation for the successful execution of complex shutdowns, having gained a deep understanding of the necessary engineering and logistical requirements.
Our fundamental premise in planning and scheduling outages is to ensure safe delivery with minimal downtime. This involves pre-engineering all possible heavy lifting and transport operations, whilst taking overall management of the different activities that are being undertaken simultaneously on the site.
With LGM’s fully equipped fabrication workshops available 24/7, urgent tasks emerging during site and call-out maintenance works are carried out without delay – another reason why shutdown planning and execution is one of our most highly regarded services.
