1. Operational Structure -ABBTECH begins with the selection of ourAccount Executive,who will:
Interface with the CLIENT’s designated representative and/or CLIENT’sManagement when and if required.Direct overall CLIENT’s effort and will act as the single point of contact withCLIENT.CoordinatesABBTECH recruiting effort.Manage and integrate all CLIENT work assignments to ensure specified jobrequirements are filled and that the employees are performing satisfactorily.Responsible for interfacing with CLIENT resolving all problems, should anyoccur.Responsible for invoice review to ensure accuracy and budgeted dollarcompliance.Responsible for personnel assigned, start dates, orientation, job assignments,indoctrinations, etc.Resolve all performance/personnel matters for assignedABBTECH personnel.Available for CLIENT review meetings.
2. Recruitment Assignment Plan - ABBTECH maintains one of the area’s largestcomputerized resume databases of administrative, computer, and technicalconsultants. Our presence and tenure in the staffing marketplace allows us to knowwho are the most qualified employees and where, when, and how their services can berendered. We pay particular attention to geographics and try to locate employees inclose proximity of their assignments. With ABBTECH’s experience, knowledge, andresources we are able to respond immediately to our CLIENT’s staffing needs.

3. Screening and Pre-hiring Procedures - ABBTECH maintains a historical database ofpast employees who have worked for us and performed satisfactorily. This providesABBTECH a cadre of qualified personnel. All candidates who have not worked for usover the years are thoroughly screened and have their references checked and verified.We require at least two (2) professional references for each new candidate. ABBTECHreviews experience, education, past assignments, performance on those assignments,re-hire eligibility, attitude, and versatility. We also try to find one of our previousemployees to give us a co-worker’s opinion on the candidate, which proves morereliable than Human Resources recommendations. At the interview level, we reviewprofessionalism, proper attire, poise, manner, and people skills.
4. Job Requisition - Upon receipt of a requirement either by email, fax, phone, or mail, adetailed job description is prepared unless one is provided. All requirements arebroken down into three (3) areas: absolute skills and/or education required, soft skillsrequired, and skills or education that would enhance the attractiveness of a candidate.ABBTECH’s personnel have technical expertise and can relate to most jobrequirements.
5. Resume Search - ABBTECH uses WebPas software which allows a multitude of keyword search capability. It is very effective in searching our database in seconds,seeking out possible candidates. After a printout of job candidates is reviewed, we setabout contacting them for rate and availability. No candidate is submitted to ourCLIENT without first being contacted and informed of the job requirement. If thecandidate is not known to us, we proceed with the procedures as related in paragraph 3.
6. Assignment - Before an employee is assigned, the candidate’s resume (which has beenverified for information accuracy) is emailed, faxed, mailed, or hand carried toCLIENT. Candidates selected by the CLIENT are sent copes of reference checks (ifrequired) to insure qualification. Interviews are arranged either by phone or sent to theclients facility for interrogation. If the candidate is selected by the CLIENT, theyreturn to the office for paperwork processing and indoctrination.

An ABBTECH employee contract specifying rates, terms and conditions ofemployment is created and a start package is given to the new employee. Theemployee is instructed in ABBTECH’s and the CLIENT’s policies, safety, security,dress code, ID badge requirements, working hours, parking regulation, lateness andabsentee notification procedures, conduct at the CLIENT site, holiday and vacationscheduling, time card reporting procedures, performance evaluations, and lastly anoverview of the CLIENT’s mission, expectations and related issues.
7. Post Hiring Procedures - All new employees are prepared with an orientation programas to job expectations, deportment, client and fellow worker relationships, do’s anddont’s, and the importance of performing well above average. If a security clearance isrequired,ABBTECH’s FSO will provide a visitation letter on a timely basis, specifyingclearance level and other required information. If travel is required and approved byCLIENT, the employee is versed in travel policy and procedures and the necessaryarrangements are made byABBTECH.
8. ABBTECH’s Quality Control Program - After an employee starts an assignment, he orshe is monitored closely initially, through frequent phone calls to “see how thing aregoing” and site visits (approved by CLIENT) to ensure satisfactory performance andsolve any problems which may effect employee morale. ABBTECH will establish aCLIENT pool of successful employees who have worked for the CLIENT in the pastand are familiar with the CLIENT’s needs and expectations. At the end of anemployees assignment with the CLIENT, anABBTECH QualityAssurance Evaluationform will be sent to the CLIENT for completion at the CLIENT’s convenience.
9. Discharge Policy - ABBTECH, when notified by CLIENT that an employee has beenperforming unsatisfactory and termination is requested, will follow whateverprocedures the CLIENT desires to provide a smooth transition. Disciplinary actionsare taken in proportion to whatever problem arises (i.e.Absenteeism, lateness, etc.) Weprovide oral and written warnings, counseling, suspension, and, if required, employeeis terminated byABBTECH for cause.

Description: Utilizing our two GSA Schedules for Temporary Services and Information TechnologyServices,ABBTECH provides the US Treasury with Help Desk, Computer Tech, andAdministrative supportfor many US Treasury locations throughout the country.
All positions in the US Treasury are of a sensitive nature, so all employees must pass an agency backgroundinvestigation in order to perform the assignment. ABBTECH maintains a full compliment of previouslycleared candidates for these positions.
Description: ABBTECH is a prime subcontractor to EDS on the Navy Marine Corps Intranet (NMCI)project. We provide EDS with cleared and non-cleared personnel in the areas of NetworkEngineering/Administration, Server Farm Implementation, Contracts Administration, and Publicationssupport. ABBTECH personnel are assigned to Navy or Marine Corps bases throughout the country.
At the start of this contract EDS needed many people very quickly. ABBTECH was an essential part of thestart up staffing in the San Diego and Norfolk Network Operations Centers (NOCs) with SystemsAdministrator, Network Specialists, Implementation Specialists andAdmin support.
Description: ABBTECH provides Lockheed with cleared and non-cleared personnel on various projectssuch as FAA ATM, SBIS, and ECSIII. ABBTECH began working with Lockheed in 1993, in the proposalsupport area. Since then, ABBTECH continues to supply Lockheed with Proposal Support, DatabaseAdministration, SWTesting, Systems Engineering, Help Desk, and Contracts Support personnel.
Description: ABBTECH supports Unisys on the Transportation SecurityAdministration (TSA) project withContracts Administration, and SW and Network Engineering support. We have also teamed with Unisys onthe USPSY2K project to bring all the USPS computer systems up toY2K compliance.
Description: Teamed with TEKSOL Corporation to upgrade and re-engineer the mobile lounges at DullesInternationalAirport. Engineers, Tech Writers, Programmers, and CAD Personnel provided.
