Core Competencies• Software Development
• Application Development• System Performance Analysis• System Interoperability
IT Services• Network Design• Network Administration• Systems Integration
Hosting & Backup Services• Data Hosting• Off-Site Data Storage
8
Software Development• StackFrame has provided OneSAF development to
Applied Research Associates’ Deep Green effort with DARPA.
• StackFrame is the prime contractor to DARPA for the development of the ‘Simulation Center in a Box’ (a.k.a. MobileSimCenter). StackFrame was awarded the Phase II SBIR in August 2010.
• StackFrame has supported Axontologic, Inc. in the development of a semantic search engine for large databases and has developed a research database for the University of new Hampshire.
9
OneSAF• StackFrame has extensive experience supporting the
design and development of the US Army’s OneSAF simulation application. StackFrame personnel have supported SAIC on the OneSAF program since 2001.
• StackFrame personnel developed core components of OneSAF, such as:• Messaging Services• Object Database / Simulation Object Runtime Database (SORD)
• StackFrame’s Vice President, Derrick Franceschini, served as Software Architect for the OneSAF program
10
CACCTUS•StackFrame has maintained and enhanced
the network infrastructure of CACCTUS continuously since May 2005• Maintained servers, networks, firewalls, desktops, laptops, backups, mail
•Supported site installs• MCBH Kaneohe Bay• Okinawa• 29 Palms
•Supported Information Assurance activities
11
SE Core• StackFrame has provided OneSAF consulting services
to SAIC’s SE Core program• StackFrame’s experience with CCTT, AVCATT, OneSAF
has proven to be useful when solving complicated problems
• StackFrame provides IT and IA support to SE Core
12
SORD Gateway
•StackFrame is the primary developer of the OneSAF SORD Gateway, which allows interoperability with OneSAF from other simulation applications.
•As a result StackFrame has enhanced the SORD Gateway under contracts with ARA and Anyar, Inc. for RDECOM efforts.
•Enables direct access to OneSAF data model

SORD
• Static Analysis of Java bytecode• Automatically discovers programming errors (bugs) in Java
code• Catches over 65 separate coding issues, including:
• Serialization errors• Performance errors (e.g., calling new Boolean() instead of
Boolean.valueOf())• Inconsistencies (e.g. overriding hashCode() but not equals())• Many more...
• Capable of executing over very large code bases• OneSAF has over 5 million LOC
• In Use By• OneSAF• CACCTUS
15
MobileSimCenter• Developing various technologies to support goal of
creating a complete mobile simulation center, that fits within a carry-on size suitcase, capable of Manuever Battalion training
• Technologies include:• Application Performance Analysis and Remediation• NetOpsManager: takes advantage of available site-organic
hardware to include in the simulation• Tablet Simulation interface: Supports simulation operator
control on a tablet (e.g., iPad) device • Browser Interface: Supports simulation operator control on a
standard web browser, without requiring plugins
16
MobileSimCenter
Performance Analysis• Reducing hardware footprint for SimBox
• Improved OneSAF efficiency on multi-core CPU environments• Before changes: (red indicates thread blockage, green indicates work
being done)
17
MobileSimCenter
Performance Remediation
• After changes:
• Additionally reduced memory usage in 64-bit environments by ~30% by testing and enabling CompressedOOPs option
18
MobileSimCenter
NetOpsManager• Goal: enable SimBox to take advantage of hardware that
exists organically at a site as resources for the simulation• Leveraging Virtualization and Cloud Computing
technologies to achieve goal

Tablet Simulation Interface
• To meet packaging constraints for SimBox, StackFrame is adding tablet interface for controlling a simulation
• StackFrame’s tablet interface is built on the IOS platform for iPad• Leverages the StackFrame Charybdis DIS interface• Capable of visualizing DIS traffic for simulation• Adding capability to interact with the SORDGW
• Enables interactions with more rich objects, interactions, and behavior
20

Web Browser Interface
• Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) Application leveraging various services
• Works with generally available web browsers without additional plugins•Firefox•Chrome•Safari•Internet Explorer
