Adri started his professional canyoning career in France in 2012, certifying as
an ICOpro Instructor. In addition to this, Adri had previously studied web design and photography, and he always brought his camera along when adventuring. It was after he became an ICOpro Instructor that Adri decided to follow the Photographer Training course.
As a new technology, media and sports enthusiast, ICOpro and the CAPH course offered a clear path for Adri to follow.
Successfully completing these courses gave him the opportunity to travel and work in many different countries—North America, Indonesia, New Zealand and all around Europe—as both a professional photographer and a canyoning instructor.
Moving forward to Trainer Photographer for ICOpro, he’ll continue to share his passion for canyoning, photography and technology to spread and develop the practice of canyoning around the world!

Étienne is passionate about canyoning. For fifteen years he has been exploring
French, Swiss, Spanish and Italian canyons. He joined Icopro in 2014 and began professional training course in 2015. He is currently an Assistant Instructor, which has allowed him to gain professional experience in Canada and he intends to continue the Icopro training course and travel.
Having followed an artistic university
education, Étienne quickly focused his interest on the canyon photographer training course that he acquired in 2017. Native of the French Alps, he intends to travel and work around the world to discover the canyons of the globe and to share the moments, the emotions, the landscapes, his passion of the canyoning, in a professional way through the photography or coaching.

Nejc (aka Rost) started canyoning in 2014. Without previous photography
background he joined ICOpro and got certified as Canyoning Photographer in 2017, in France. Besides canyoning, he is into different aspects of climbing, especially sport climbing which is often his object of shooting. Although his main focus is on
adventure photography, he is curious about photography in its whole, looking forward to discovering all sorts of photography styles.
He first professional experience as a photographer in canyons would be under Mount Olympus in Greece, the season directly following his certification.

One of the pioneers in the field of professional canyoning photography,
Gus is the developer of ICOpro’s Canyoneer Photographer training program and one of the organization’s main contributors when it comes to professional imagery.
Born in Brazil, Gus started his canyoning photography career in New Zealand where he began to develop his skills in partnership with other prolific professional canyoneers, photographers and filmmakers. Soon after joining ICOpro in 2014, after his CA123 course in Bali, his ability to deliver engaging images in the challenging canyoning environment earned him a position as Developer Coordinator for the Canyoneer Photographer training course. He is also continuously learning with ICOpro, and
holds the Intructor 1 certification as well as the Trainer Photographer level, all of which have allowed him to work in New Zealand, Indonesia, France, Greece and the USA. He is also in charge of the technical images for ICOpro’s manuals. In the last few years, Gus has documented numerous high-profile expeditions and first descents, work which has resulted in numerous magazine articles with words and images by him.
His approach to canyoning photography seeks to engage the viewer in the moment and ambiance, often with close-ups on his subjects and dark, eerie environment of the canyons, never forgetting to expose the intensity of the action.

Julien has always been inclined to artistic endeavours and the outdoors.
He started off traveling the world with an old bridge camera, enjoying the process of capturing moments and places, though he never thought he could make a living out of it. After graduating with a Master’s degree and working in digital communication, he soon realized that creativity was the key ingredient that was missing in his search for fulfilment.
ICOpro’s Canyoning Photographer training course seemed to offer the perfect way to professionally develop this old passion for photography. Having practiced many outdoor sports, canyoning was always one he was keen
on, so why not go ahead and take the jump?!
Working as a professional photographer and canyoning instructor has allowed him to travel around several countries (Indonesia, New Zealand, France, Montenegro), and to help develop the industry through his lenses and professional background. After 2 years on the road, his take on canyoning photography has been shaped as more artistic than regular action shots.
Now Julien looks forward to developing his outdoor and action photographer’s skills in new areas, such as surfing and other water sports.
