Friday's Shabbat Service is free and open to all. This special Shabbatincludes new Jewish liturgical music composed by Cantor Davidson's friends

and colleagues to commemorate this major milestone. There will also be apre-service Shabbat dinner and recordings of the new music available for

purchase.

Saturday's Extravaganza features Havdalah, dinner, dancing, DJ,open bar, silent auction, after party, special tributes, fun and door

prizes. Early entry available to ticket holders and sponsors.

Let’s Speak Hebrew!

We welcome you to a fantastic opportunity to increase your ability to converse

in Modern Hebrew. This class will be taught at Temple Beth El, San Pedro,

by Hebrew Lecturer and Director of Education Racheli Morris.

Beginning in January 2020 there will be 12 sessions of Conversational Hebrew on Sunday afternoons from 12:20-1:30 p.m. when Confirmation Class is in session. These are the dates:

January 5, 12, 26; February 9, 23;

March 1, 15, 22, 29; April 19, 26; and

May 3

Class sponsored by Dr. Tracy and Eric Imley

There is a suggested donation of $250. Everyone is welcome to attend.

Course Subjects will include the following:

● Engage in basic communicative exchanges.

● Introduce and provide personal information about oneself and others.

● Ask and answer simple questions about place of residence, family, daily schedule, etc. ● Use Hebrew to interact in travel-related situations.

● Travel with confidence in Israel. For example, ask for directions, order food etc.
