Nothing was overlooked in the planning and construction of the new DiplomatCC, located in Hollywood, Fla. Architects and construction men were attheir best here, putting just about everything you can conceive of in acountry club into this beautiful South Florida layout. In the cover photo,taken opposite the sixth tee, the huge clubhouse can be seen in the back-ground. Just beyond the tee, but not shown in the photo, is one of twolarge rest rooms located on the course. Cary Middlecoff's spacious golf shopis the kind most pros dream of but rarely see in this life. And the samething probably can be said of the superintendent's equipment building. Tobuild a course such as the Diplomat costs $2 million. Diplomat is one of themany fine course now operated as a hub of resorts or housing subdivisions.
