With an Honours degree in Economics and Finance from Wilfred Laurier University he joined MorCan Direct (known as MorCan Financial at the time) in 2002 as Vice-President of Sales and Marketing. In less than 10 years, Tzaferis successfully led the company to boast a portfolio of over $2 billion dollars (CAD) in residential and commercial mortgage origination while collecting the company’s Best Broker of the Year award year-after-year. Shortly thereafter, he was named CEO.

Serving thousands of Canadian clients across the country and in the Greater Toronto Area for 15 years , as well as being recently recognized as the top independent mortgage company by CMP Magazine, Tzaferis expanded MorCan Direct’s expertise in the mortgage space by launching Cannect (www.cannectdirect.ca) in 2017.
