Talking to the hardest working guy we all know, Mr. Chris.
Story By: Megan Peterson
Recently the 9th grade took a
field trip to Tails of the Wild.
Tails of the Wild is a locally
owned and operated rescue
facility that takes in all kinds
of amazing animals. All the
animals have been through
some form of abuse and are
rehabilitated. The field trip was
amazing, we saw lots of amaz-
ing animals. We had an oppor-
tunity to handle all different kinds of
snakes and lizards that were aban-
doned and now are amazing pets. We
also got to hand feed some tortoises,
which was received happily and much
appreciated. The most exciting and
anticipated part of the trip was the
Tigers. They had all been badly abused
and grown to not trust humans. With a
lot of work they now have a great rela-
tionship with Mr. Gill, their caretaker.
We saw some monkeys that were badly
beaten. One monkey had gone insane
and was actually harming himself,
but had improved a lot. The mon-
keys could turn on the faucet for
their water and had become very
protective of
Mr. Gill. It
was a very
awesome
experience
and great to
see the ani-
mals happy
again.

Candlelight Christian Academy 5th
grade class journeyed to St. Augus-
tine, the oldest city in Florida. The
trip was March 3rd through the 4th.
The students who went are Aly
Beamer, Sequia Johnson, Carson
Rudy, Trevin Smith, Areyana Foot-
man, and Trinity Atitmore. The trip
was a history field trip. During the
interview, the students kept voicing
that they had so much fun, and how
much they enjoyed themselves.
They experienced a great number of
fun activities. They experienced at
Flore Mendez, crushing oyster
shells, making corn meal, and in-
credible face painting. Ac-
cording to the class, it was
fun visiting the Fountain of
Youth. The class was able to
experience a trolley ride with
their tour guide Alex. They
mentioned how they fell
asleep on the ride as well. It
was also interesting to know.
They visited the old jail and
school in the city. They also
visited the Howard Johnson
Historical hotel. They experi-
enced great food at the Burger Buck-
et and another local Buffet. Overall
the trip was awesome they stat-
ed. The only downfall was the hotel
room. It was a pleasure to interview
the 5th-grade class, and I could tell
that they really enjoyed the trip and
were thankful for the opportunity.
we came back to the school and played
more Xbox. It was so much fun when
we went outside to play manhunt and
basketball. We came back inside to
guess what... continue to play some
more Xbox. We also played the game
mafia and then it was time to go
home. So yeah, that’s what we did at
the lock in and that’s my story.

Okay so for the guys lock-in a lot
of guys brought in video game con-
soles and set everything up. We
played Xbox and then we played
more Xbox all night long. We drank a
lot of mountain dew and ate a lot of
pizza and then played more Xbox.
Then later at 1:00 in the morning we
went to the field and played night
Frisbee for like an hour. Then after

Hey peeps it’s me once again another story about chapel on Wednesday March 9th
We had a awesome person who sang in a band called Journey that you might know from the 70’s and 80’s The singer was named Andy Avery. And he was a blast to have and the entire school came and celebrated this cher-ished moment we had that day. He led us in our worship circle and all of the Elementary kids got up and rocked out too. Guess what? I’ve got his Autograph and I can’t believe I met a Celebrity at my school. We didn’t know

Hey guys, it was testing week two weeks ago. It was kind of stressful for me, but it was okay overall. The test gave you some questions that were kind of hard to under-stand and some of them were tricky to answer as well. All you could do was answer the questions best as you could. When I took the test I had to go over it in my head to see if I could answer the ques-tions or not. Some of them I think I got wrong, but don’t worry you might get some of them wrong. At least hopefully you tried to answer them as best as you could. I am also worried about what grade I would get on the test as well. Testing was hard for me because of all the ques-
tions that they ask you had to do with that one section that they have in the test booklet. But testing is always very stress-ful and very outrageous and a little boring as well. But it is over now and that is good because if we do it again then it will be stressful again for me, and probably for the other people as well. The best thing about testing means that it is almost the end of the school year, summer-time yeah!

again. The middle school players had some good shoot-ers, but the teachers had height to their advantage. Over all the players and teachers did well, and it turned out to be fun.
Story By: Hunter Wiebold
The middle and high school play-ers played against the Teachers, down by the basketball court by the park. The high school players almost caught the teachers in the game, but the teachers pre-vailed. It mostly came down to defense in the end for the high school players. The middle school players almost caught the teachers, but the teachers prevailed

Q:My friend who will remain nameless (Landan,) pho-
toshopped his face on my dad's face, with my mom stand-
ing next to my dad in the pic. I think he’s in love with my
mom but I’m not sure.
What should I do?
A: You should print out the picture, frame it, and then give it to
him as a present.
Q: Why does your name contain an underscore?
A: Why does your name not contain an underscore???
Q: I have a friend that I got into an argument with, and
then a couple of days ago she had to go to the hospital. I
love my friend a lot, but she rolls her eyes at me and
wont even talk to me. What should I do?
A: One sided friendships never end well………. I would make
sure you are actually FRIENDS with this person first. Just so
you know a good and healthy friendship is ALWAYS 2 sided.
