TORONTO, Tuesday, November 16, 2010 — The Canadian Hero Fund proudly welcomes Lieutenant-General Andrew Leslie and Matthew Bassett as its newest Honorary Patrons. They are the latest accomplished Canadians to lend their support to the student-based volunteer organization that raises funds and awareness for military families.

Lieutenant-General Leslie currently serves as the Chief of Transformation of the Canadian Forces and is the former Chief of the Land Staff.
