Schools Out!
• Schools in HRM will be closed for two weeks February 2011 – Feb. 14 to Feb.25 inclusive.
• Spring Break usually in March is cancelled.• Classes begin early Sept. 1 and end later June 30th.• Christmas break will be shortened and a PD day dropped.• Happens each time there is a Winter Games• Citadel High and Sackville High are being used.• Outside HRM will share the same Sept.1-June 30 calendar;
but have a traditional March Break; longer Christmas break to compensate for the longer school year.
• Outside HRM schools will remain open as usual through Feb. 2011.
