KIDZ KAMPFor Kids Entering Kindergarten for 2021-2022 School Year

MissionKidz Kamp is a special edition of the Camp Foster program and is designed to gently introduce our youngest day campers to summer camp. Kidz Kampers will receive an increased level of supervision and guidance to ensure their safety and a positive transition to the overall camp program. Their day will be structured with their endurance level in mind giving them the opportunity to take a break from the summer heat as needed, and even take a nap if necessary.

Age RestrictionsKidz Kamp registration is open to boys and girls entering kindergarten for the 2021/2022 school year. Weekly registration is limited to 50 Kidz Kampers.

Kidz Kamp ProgramDifferent than our Camp Foster program, Kidz Kampers will start each week on Monday at our Union Street Clubhouse under the supervision of our school-year Kids Club Program Director and staff. Kidz Kampers will have the air-conditioned Union Street Clubhouse for their dedicated use, as well as the Clubhouse playground. A 1:8 staff-to-camper ratio will allow for staff to provide constant supervision to campers. Our counselors-in-training will also work with our Kidz Kampers in all of the program areas. The schedule for the rest of each week will have our Kidz Kampers spending the mornings at Camp Foster participating in traditional day camp activities under constant supervision. After lunch at camp, Kidz Kampers will load the bus and head back to the air-conditioned Union Street Clubhouse where they will have a rest period and participate in Clubhouse activities. Kidz Kampers will have use of the Camp Foster swimming pool during the mornings when the group goes to the camp facility.
