Tri-State Free Methodist Family Camp Camp Association Special Meeting Monday, April 9, 2012 At 7:06 PM, Jeff Diddle opened the meeting with remarks on the loss of Mike and Karen Wolfe. Pastor Steve Forsythe led in prayer. The business meeting was called to order at 7:11 by president, Wally Whippo. Attendance sheet attached. Honorary seat granted to Pastor Bud Mitchell. Minutes from July 15, 2011 were read and approved. Reports Treasurer: Naomi Cowsert Balance on hand, $9637.65 Bob Greathouse returned $4000.00 from the check for $5500.00 issued to him 11/29/11. Trustees: Bob Greathouse, Chair Wally requests no slag be added to the road on the west side of the campground. The Dining Hall porch is to receive a new roof. New Business 1. Note the need for a map of the camp including numbered cottages, trailer lots and camper lots. 2. Regarding a new caretaker- looking for a couple to live at campground. May need an interim. On motion that matter of hiring a caretaker be referred to the trustees. 3. Regarding caretaker house at camp- cleanup cost was $1500.00. Insurance assessed damage to house, but has not yet committed to coverage. On motion that trustees be authorized to spend the funds necessary for repairs to house in order to make it livable for new caretaker.

At 7:06 PM, Jeff Diddle opened the meeting with remarks on the loss of Mike and Karen Wolfe. Pastor Steve Forsythe led in prayer.

The business meeting was called to order at 7:11 by president, Wally Whippo.

Minutes from July 15, 2011 were read and approved.

New Business

4. Regarding issue of possible gas lease for 10.6 acres of camp property- DPS Penn/Chesapeake does not foresee drilling in the area, and therefore, is not interested in extending a lease to the camp. On motion to give authority to the BOA to make decisions on any future gas leases assuming appropriate legal counsel is sought.

5. Matter of renting campground referred to BOA.6. Note that Trustees may need to replace some mowing/trimming equipment that is

owned by the Wolfe family. On motion to allow Bob Cowsert to get weed trimmer fixed.

7. Youth Camp is scheduled for June 18-22 and Kid’s Camp, June 25-29.
