CAMINO DE SANTIAGOEDDIE CHIU

After my father’s death, I saw this move, in which the father finished the Camino for his son, who died in the attempt of walking Camino.

And that is when I decided that on the anniversary ofmy father’s death, I willwalk the Camino to honor him.

And I started my journey, taking risk and step into the unknown…

On average, I walked 30km per day for 28 days, from French border all the way across Spain.

Nevertheless, I choose to proceed…

On top of the weather, many obstacles challenged me: blister, cramp, muscle inflammation…etc.

But these difficulties do not stop me…

On The Way, I made friends who are from all over the world.

And I saw some of the most spectacular beauties I have ever seen.

Occasionally I missed home.

100km Mark!

But Step by step, I was closer and closer to my destination.

I continued to walk, with faith and determination.

And this is it! Santiago de Compostela!

However, I felt a little lost at first upon the arrival. After all, getting to the city was the only thing in my mind for the past 30 days, but the city in front of me now was no extraordinary. Maybe I was hoping for something more to happen…

But then I realized: everything already happen already on The Way. The process is the result.

I took the risk and challenge and step into the unknown with courage, and the result is fruitful yet invaluable.

These experiences will strengthen my personal characters and help me become more successful in my professional life.
