BELL TIMES

At the most recent meeting of our school PBL committee it was decided

that changes would be made to bring about a more timely movement from

playground to class.

From Monday 14th November an early warning bell will be rung at 9.07am

to provide a prompt to students to finish play, use toilets if required and

be ready for class at the second bell at 9.10am. Students will also take

their school bags directly to lines in most cases.

Students will learn that: -

Care is required in moving to lines.

Safe placing of schoolbags is required.

Responsible students are on time every time.

Respect is demonstrated by remaining quiet when in lines.

“CAUGHT YOU BEING GOOD” VOUCHER WINNERS

PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT SESSION

The sessions for Year 5 & 6 students and Year 4 girls which were

postponed recently due to the presenter’s illness, will go ahead on

Wednesday 23rd of November.

MOTIVATIONAL SPEAKER

Ten of our Year 6 students have been given the opportunity to visit

Nambucca Heads High School to listen to motivational speaker Sam

Cawthorne, on Wednesday 16th of November. Mrs Smith will be

accompanying these students……………………………………...Mrs Leahy

FAMILY CHRISTMAS FUN NIGHT

Make sure that you have Friday 2nd December marked in your diaries.

This is to be a night where parents and friends can join us as we

approach the end of our school year. There will be a BBQ as well as

some items performed by the students. It will also be the Premiere

of the films which all classes have been making. Come along and see

your budding actors in action.

COMMONWEALTH STUDENT BANKING

It is so good to see so many students saving. What a great habit to

get into! It’s hard to believe that there is only 5 weeks left until the

end of this term so it’s time to exchange your tokens for things like

money boxes, drink bottles, wallets etc. They will need to be in some

time in the next two weeks to be sure they arrive before we break up

for Christmas…………………………….…..Deb Vassallo, Banking Co-ordinator

SCHOOL SWIMMING SCHEME

As there are enough numbers, we will proceed with this scheme

which will commence on 28 November. Permission notes with final

costing and details will be sent home shortly………………..Miss Campton
