CAMBRIDGE HEADLINES Cambridge High School 11.6.19 Around Cambridge Bell Schedule Week of November 4, 2019 For the latest Cambridge News—See Cambridge HeadlinesGirls Cross Country Wins Third State Championship Congratulations to the Cambridge Girls Cross Country for winning their third State Championship. Bringing home the title were Ashley Sechrest, Anna Filipek, Lola Merrill, Emily Meeker, Camilla Montes, Kathryn Suplee, Izzy Filipek, and Katie Malone. The Boys also placed at State bringing home the Third Place trophy. The Boys Cross Country team includes Anders Law, Deacon Law, Josh Gargan, Adam Schaich, Lyle Donovan, Colby Jones, Kaine Dudley, and Cole Suplee. The Boys and Girls Cross Country teams are coached by: Brad Coulter—Head Coach Assistant Coaches—Torianna Wilson, Joey Brock, Ashley LeBlanc, Paul Supik, Jesse Bitting, and Bob Coulter. Cambridge FFA Wins National Championship Congratulations to the Cambridge FFA Chapter as they won their third National Championship in Ag Communications during the National FFA Convention in Indianapolis last week. The team includes SaraBeth Goud, Taleen Hanna, Harrison Phillips, and Sarah Beth Waller. This is the Chapter's third National Ag Communications title in four years. The Cambridge Marketing Plan team represented Georgia at Nationals earning Silver. Competing were team members Allie Maloney, Lucy Robbie, and Jaiden Stidston. Finishing in the Top Four in the Nation for Equine Proficiency was Grace Johnson (Class of 2018). Recognized during the convention were Cambridge's first American FFA Degree recipients. The American FFA Degree is the highest degree earned, and only one percent of FFA members achieve this level. Congratulations to Meaghan Bybee (class of 2018) and Grace Johnson (class of 2018) on earning their degrees. The Cambridge FFA Chapter is led by advisors Ms. Sarah Nerswick and Ms. Ashley White. Senior—Apply to College Day Seniors! Do you need help applying to college? Do you have questions about Parchment? Cambridge is hosting "Apply to College Day", on Friday, November 8, 2019. Any senior student who has not yet applied to a college is welcome to join the Counselors in room 2.428, from 9:00 am until 3:00 pm. Counselors will be on had to help students with the college application process. Final Exam Exemption Window—Mark Your Calendars The Exemption Request window opens Wednesday, November 20. It will remain open through Tuesday, December 3 at 4:00 pm. Review the Final Exam Exemption Incentive at www.cambridgehs.org (Academics > Academic Resources) for requirements and Infinite Campus to make sure you are on track to meet those requirements for the class(es) in which you wish to request exempting your final. Girls Cross Country Wins Third State Championship

Congratulations to the Cambridge Girls Cross Country for winning their third State Championship. Bringing home the title were Ashley Sechrest, Anna Filipek, Lola Merrill, Emily Meeker, Camilla Montes, Kathryn Suplee, Izzy Filipek, and Katie Malone.
