PRAISE: Life @ the new property is wonderful, but it doesn't come without a new series of challenges. Much work is left

to be finished on our home and the ministry house, including running water in our home.

PRAY for wisdom & know-how to wrap up important projects before our soon furlough departure, as well as God's

provision for bigger projects, including our staff housing.

PRAISE: We've hosted two amazing large teams this summer.

The first group hailed from Morgantown, West Virginia with Calvary Chapel Morgantown. These guys focused on work

projects, including the round pen for the horses and miscellaneous projects in the homes & barn. They also assisted in

leading Bible studies in our weekly outreaches. Bien hecho, hermanos!

The second team arrived from Valley Creek Church in suburban Dallas, Texas. These guys finished out the riding ring

for the horses and also lead our first VBS outreach in the new community.

We were blessed to host both teams and are PRAYERFUL that God will continue to minister in their lives State-side!

Each church has partnered with us over the last four years! Gracias, hermanos!

We continue to PRAY for our US non-profit status to be recognized in Honduras. According to the latest report from our

lawyer we are less than two months away from being official! PTL! The final step also includes a final deposit of ~$800.

(With this in hand, we can then proceed to import our 15-passenger van!) Also, continue to PRAY for the finalization our

electrical project; we are still waiting on our meter.

PRAY also for the Lord's provision for a new Ranch vehicle. The Durango is in the shop, again. This time with a $900

transmission repair waiting to happen. We'd like to sell the Durango and get a pick-up. (My understanding is that with the

non-profit status in place, we can import a truck tax free!)

Lucinda has returned to the US with our three oldest children, Naomi, Tabitha and Tobias. They will be staying in the

same town, but with Marillyn's parents, Wayne & Brooke Goranson. (FYI - Wayne had his hip replacement surgery on

July 10th and is recovering wonderfully... thanks to your PRAYERS!)

Ilsy is well, but is slowly recovering from a motorcycle accident while traveling with her brother and daughter.

With only one property to watch, we've let Jose Felix go and have tried to find a young man to come alongside Oscar, but

haven't had much success. PRAY for Jonathan, one of the soccer boys to follow through.Â

We still have our night guards, Kelvin, Ilsy's brother (M-F) and Anastacio, Oscar's uncle (Sat-Sun), so PRAY for their

protection and strength. Finally, Dunia & Keyla have been faithfully helping around the Ranch, but have been spending

much time with their ailing grandmother.

PRAY for the Theyel family! We met Kurt, Rebecca and their two girls, Jianna & Samara, years ago in Wisconsin and

have hosted them while coming down with short-term missions teams. However, this time they have come as a family for

the month with a heart for missions. They've been a great help with a variety of Ranch tasks and outreaches. PRAY for

them as they seek the Lord's direction for their family and missions, as well as wisdom in making it through all of the

cultural adjustments while living in Honduras! (FYI - our other team scheduled for August canceled.)

PRAY for God to send us the right ministry partners. We're processing/praying through some applications now and are

hoping to meet some potential partners during the furlough travels

PRAY for God's protection over our Honduran staff and property as we return to the States in August.

PRAY for our furlough to be filled with Divine appointments with new and faithful support team members and times of

refreshing for the Beards. We've been in Central America for seven years and are feeling more "burned-out" then ever

before. This verse was brought to my attention recently while listening to a message on my bike ride:

John and Mari Lou David (Philippines) – August 2015 Prayer requests:

Please continue to pray for my son Christian that he would receive the conviction of the Holy Spirit and repent of

his sins and that he would return to his family.

Pray for wisdom and strength for Alyssa in raising Caleb.

Pray for the upcoming ladies retreat that all the ladies will be blessed. It will be a Q&A time. Also pray for the

men's bible study as we will resume next month from a long layoff.

Pray for Alfha as she has stepped away from the Lord.

Pray for Rodel, Sonny and Robert that they would truly follow the Lord. They don't come to church on a regular

basis to hear the word. They also still practice bad habits from the past.

Pray for guidance on what to do with the youth group. Rui had to step down from leadership as his job

responsibilities have taken time from preparing studies. His replacement, Arnold, is being forced to work overtime

(yes, forced to) that he could not make it to midweek studies. He might also be moving soon to Manila for a better

job opportunity.

The sanctuary ceiling hasn't leaked with all the rain we've been getting. Praise God.

Praise God for all the faithful ones who come to hear the word of God day in and day out... rain or sunshine

Rancho Sordo Mudo is a free home/school for deaf children in Mexico. Ed and Margaret Everett, the founders of

RSM, believe that deaf children can be taught how to read and write, to communicate in sign language, and to learn a

trade for their future. More importantly, the goal of the ministry is to teach the children of God’s love for them and give

them a hope and future. This has been the work of the ranch for almost 40 years.

Theresa Frazier (Dumaguete, Philippines) – September 2015

I pray this finds each of you well and living in the victory Christ gives us to the glory of our God and King.

As most of you are aware, my mom went home to be with the Lord September 3rd, 2014. After settling her estate, I

returned to the Philippines to continue my ministry of teaching English & the Bible to 6th graders. However, after

prayerfully seeking the Lord for His direction and receiving some godly counsel for my future, I have decided to return to

Orange County. Being on the mission field for 9 years (7.5 in the Philippines and 1.5 in Romania), the Lord is closing this

chapter in my life.

I plan to return to the U.S. in October, but don't yet have a set date. I must first sell my car as I will need those funds to

live on until I can find work. PTA will continue to receive donations up to 6 months after I arrive back in California which

would be thru April 2016. I appreciate your continued support as long as you can give.

Correspondence and/or other love gifts (ie, gift cards) can be sent to this address:

1914 S. Parton Street, Santa Ana, CA 92707

I am very grateful for this experience as well as my growth in the Lord from being here. I thank God for each of you for

your faithfulness in praying, encouraging and financial giving. I know the Lord has great rewards for you in heaven.

Upon my return to Orange County, I will take a few weeks of rest to readjust to life in the U.S. After all, being 7-1/2 years

here I've adapted to the Filipino lifestyle. I need and appreciate your prayers for this time of transition. Prayer Requests:

Please pray God will send the right buyer for my car, and it will all go smoothly.

Please pray for a room to stay in until I can save for an apartment. I am also available to house sit.

Please pray for a job and keep me in mind if you know anyone who is hiring.

Email: [email protected] Keith and Cherie Fresonke (Truth Ministry, Bulgaria) – September 2015 Prayer Requests:

Rock Wall #1: One of our rock walls fell down this week. They are dry built. The problem was no footing and part of the

lower portion of the fence was acting as a retaining wall with no concrete or rebar. We found a worker to rebuild it. He is

doing a footing and building the lower portion as a retaining wall faced with the cool rock. Bummer is our insurance didn't

cover it. Please pray that he does a great job.

Rock Wall #2: We have another rock wall that is in worse shape than the one which fell down. It too is acting as a

retaining wall, but when the ground freezes in the winter it pushes out the bottom. So this wall has the leans. It is a much

longer fence. So please pray that we can find a way to secure it (in a safe and great looking way) so it doesn't fall over. It

costs about 35 dollars a square meter plus materials to rebuild. So if this one goes it would be about 3 thousand USD to

rebuild. More importantly, we wouldn't want anyone to get hurt!

Kitchen: Keith is working on our kitchen in our little house. So close but still so far away! :-) Monday we have a friend

coming to help with the electrical since it is different than in the States. Pray for us to persevere in the midst of all we still

have to do. And that I would look at what we have accomplished (which is a LOT) and not on the pile of things that still

need to be done. I know that someday our little house will feel like a home.

Hornets: We have a hornet's nest in our chimney. Big, ugly, European Hornets. Do a google search and you will see

how big and ugly they are. They are pretty mad right now since Keith lit a fire to smoke them out. We are not sure how to

get rid of them. We are planning to replace our fireplace before winter since the one in our little house is way too big for

the space and difficult to work. Pray that we can find a fireplace worker who will clean the chimney flute, replace the

fireplace and make sure our fireplace is safe before winter. We never used the fireplace in the little house last winter

since at that point we were living in the Guest House.

Sunday August 23: I've been asked to teach the Sunday service since Pastor Miro and his family are on vacation.

Please pray! I'm always super honored that they would ask a woman to teach. This church is VERY conservative so this

is definitely God's favor with this church.

CCM Team: We have a construction team coming from Calvary Chapel Murrieta in September. They are going to build

this cool fire pit for us to use at our retreats. Here is a link if you want to see what it's going to look

like. http://www.diyncrafts.com/2122/homemade/fantastic-summer-diy-project-build-swings-around-a -campfire Keith

and I have been shopping to find everything we need. Please pray for the finding of everything, for the weather to be

great while the team is here and for anything else the Lord puts on your hearts to pray for the team.

Thanks everyone for your prayers. We couldn't do this work without you. We totally love it here (except for missing our

family, friends and especially our grandkids like crazy!!!!!). The Lord knows our hearts and so He has truly blessed us

with great neighbors who all helped us when the fence fell down.

We continue to be in awe of the Lord's faithfulness. Your prayers, calls, encouragement and support have sustained us.

Monday I go back to the orthopedic surgeon in Rochester at the Mayo Clinic. They will take x-rays and determine if the

bone around the prosthesis has healed sufficiently for me to bare weight, thereby enabling me to begin walking and

physical therapy.

Please pray for good news so I can begin moving forward toward full recovery and for God's continued provision for all that involves!

Also, we have been praying about and contemplating our future. We want to continue to be used by the Lord where ever

He sees fit. In our mind there are several options, but everything hinges on the healing process with my leg and

obviously the Lord's will.Â

Please pray for His will and direction for us as 2016 approaches.

Our time with the grand kids has been filled with much laughter and activity. It has been good medicine for us! It is

amazing how the sin nature is passed from generation to generation. Not that I am amused by the sin of my grand kids

but I have to laugh because many of the things they say and do are just like the things I did at their age.Â

Please pray that each of them comes to know the Lord in an intimate way.

Brooke continues to be by my side caring for me and I am blessed by her strength and willingness to

serve me this way. It is not easy having to totally depend on another person and it is not easy being

that person, but she does it with the joy of the Lord.Â

Please pray for our marriage to grow stronger and deeper through this time.

If all goes well, we are praying about going to the Missions conference next January in Murrieta, CA.

There are also several churches we would love to stop and say hello to, so hopefully we will see

many of you then!

KAIROS Prison Ministry

This ministry’s objective is to reach out to those who are incarcerated. A three day course to provide them an on-going

Christian relationship with God and establish a discipling group for them.

Each prison Kairos serves in typically has a once a month reunion (follow up) for all Kairos graduates. Pray for

Outside and Inside men to make these one day follow up meetings and prayer time.

Web: www.kairosprisonministry.org Scott and Danielle Key (Scotland) – September 2015

This is an exciting time of the year for Cornerstone. As the kids return to school we kick back into full gear, initiating new

ideas. We have the opportunity of meeting loads of new people, and there are loads of opportunities for people to get

involved.

We been doing a lot of personal discipleship/mentoring. This has been a great tool to see growth in

development in everyone, especially the young ones.

We have begun a new home bible study that has just started in a local village, Law village. This will

appeal to young adult aged people. We are hoping this will be a transition point for the teens that have been attending

Wednesday youth group.

The Emmersons have returned to the UK. They will be visiting Shotts this week to search for a new home.

Please pray for their transition back into Scotland from the mission field in South Africa.

It is our plan to give them loads of time to become re settled in Scotland before throwing too much at them.

One thing Dave Emmerson and I (Scott) are keen to do, as soon as possible, is to run a regular outreach event similar to

the artsy-coffee shop-open mic event that we had when you guys were out in 2013. It was very successful, there is a

lot of interest in something like this on a regular basis.

We are concerned about the Emerson children integrating with the whole church program here. Their youngest has a

possible learning disability that might prove difficult for the teachers and the leaders. As it stands we may need to have a

specialist ministry team to take care of the likes of him and our Myles and a few others who have been diagnosed with

autism. Thank God for my time working with special needs with the Church of Scotland. We also have other specialists,

nurses and teachers that have experience with these issues.

That said please pray for Myles. He struggled really bad through the summer break being out of his regular school

routine. Now that school is back in he is slightly easier to handle. The problem is that when he gets over stimulated or

overly tiered he starts to act aggressive. It usually started with sudden ear piercing screams that startles everyone. He

gets tiered really fast. We find that he needs to get out to burn energy, but only in 4 hour increments, as after that he

starts to get overly tiered and can start acting out.

Pray for Jed as we are always worried about him slipping through the cracks of our attention and care. He is a awesome

like boy who is truly blessed by God. He does struggle a little in school because he gets distracted real easy.

There have been some changes in the tax system that we have not been aware of and we are trying to sort things out.

This will cost us some amount of money. We are not sure how much yet, I have an accountant working on it just now. It

really depends on how far back they want us to assess. There will be more changes for those in ministry in the next

year. We are going to take a big hit so please pray for our finances. So far we believe that we owe around £2600 that

will be due at the end of January.

Please pray for our property. it is old, but lovely. It doe require a lot of maintenance which also costs. We used a roofer

a few months back that did a horrible job. We are praying that the roof will hold up through the winter or that we can find

another honest roofer. We have spent a lot on the flat with the loft conversion and fixing up a few rooms and some minor

decorating. As such, we really don't have much resources left at this time to do much else.

Please pray for our marriage.

Please pray for our health, well being, mental health, physical health, energy and focus. That we would have a balanced

life which also includes our spiritual health... so that we may continue to do God will for and long as we can.

Please pray as we look into our British Citizenship. It is probably a good time to act on this, as I will be harder and more

expensive if we put it off too long.

Please pray for the long winter nights that are coming quickly. This summer was really poor and the forecast for winter is

just as poor. A poor winter can make things difficult and be very depressing.

As you are praying this evening I will now of been 35th day of traveling and ministry. Please pray that I will finish strong

in health, in spirit, in emotions and in my relationships.

I’m still needing a closer intimacy with the Lord everyday. I’m easily distracted with being in a new place, meeting

people, teaching etc. I need to be intentional with my times with the Lord.

For favor with my relationships wherever I go. I want to be a blessing to the different ministries I’m at.

As I go back to Malaysia on August 31 for 2 weeks that it would be a refreshing time. That I would find joy in my daily life

there.

For my next trip to India that I would be full of the Holy Spirit, healthy and ready to give out.

For my health. I think I’m doing okay with my health. I need wisdom when and if I should go in for check ups.

For my family. My brother and his wife must make difficult decisions for my mom. I heard that she can no longer drive

due to her loss of memory. My brother needs wisdom on what must be done for my mom.

And for the salvation of my family. Praise Report:

I’m having a great time teaching in Bangladesh and India. God has been very gracious to me and is using me to bless the

students and ministries. I’ve stayed healthy!!!! All my travels (airlines, trains, buses, rickshaws etc.) have gone very well.

Thank you for standing with me!

Tom and Debbie McCulloch (Hope Academy, Adams, Tennessee) – June 2015

On Saturday, we announced to our students that we will be retiring from Parent Hope Ministries at the end of June 2016.

To us, retiring just means transitioning to serving the Lord in another capacity. We have ministered to at-risk girls since 2004

and we are ready to enter a new season of our lives. We have found this necessary because it is becoming increasingly

more difficult to find full-time help. Our part-time employees are excellent, but we are not able to take ample time off with

part-time help. In addition, the government continues to burden ministries with greater controls and regulations. We are

saturated with paperwork and expensive financial audits. More regulations are on the horizon for next year. The Health

Department tests our commercial dishwasher and refrigerator for temperatures and we have to endure restaurant standards

for cooling meals, etc. Our fire alarms had to be connected by an electrician and we had to provide a private refrigerator to

keep our dog food separate. We will see each student through to the end of our contracts. Our last student arrived Sunday.

We ask you to pray for us in this time of transition. We are fully committed to each of student’s success and will work with the

same diligence until our very last day.

In addition, we are praying about our next ministry. We are planning to take some serious time off to move, to rest and

consider what God wants us to do.

Dave and Nancy McDowell (Safe Harbor International Relief) – September 2015

Nancy and I would appreciate prayer as we are planning for a three week assessment trip in Kenya and Uganda which

may also include South Sudan in October. We have two important goals. One is to renew our ministry contacts with

police officials for our continued ministry of training officers with an emphasis on ethics and anti-corruption. We continue

to work with local pastors and provide a "Law Enforcement Appreciation" service at the end of our training sessions when

we bring a full team with us. This is our opportunity to present the Gospel to officers and their families. As an example to

show the need for assessment and renewal of contacts just this last year the Kenyan Police Department reassigned and

made changes from top to bottom with its personnel. We also plan to check on ongoing literacy programs that Safe

Harbor has sponsored in Nairobi.

Our second goal is to provide several opportunities for Nancy to network with local pastors, missionaries and church

leaders to plan for future Spiritual Retreats. Providing for the spiritual needs of Christian workers overseas is a much

needed ministry. Please pray for the right locations that will provide the right environment to allow future participants to

get away from their busy schedules to connect with the Lord and come away refreshed. Nancy currently ministers in

person and via Skype to several missionaries around the world.

We would appreciate your prayers for our current family situation and how it may impact our October departure. We

have accepted the responsibility of becoming temporary foster care parents for two of our three grandsons. This could

be a twelve month or more commitment while our youngest daughter here in Bend and her husband are attending

required classes to deal with addiction issues. We will leave the specifics as an unspoken request but we would

greatly appreciate your prayers for their long term recovery. We have needed boundaries in place but at this time felt the

Lord wanted us to reach out to our grandchildren through the State system

We are caring for our two year old grandson Grayson and his newborn brother Isaiah. Isaiah is now 12 weeks old and

has been with us just under two weeks. Isaiah was born premature and spent the first 10 weeks of his life in NICU where

he was later diagnosed with Fetal Alcohol Syndrome. After our training from the NICU nurses and doctors and because

Nancy is an RN we were allowed to take Isaiah home to join Grayson. While sleeping at night Isaiah is attached to

an oxygen and heart monitor. Due to a reflux condition which he should grow out of Isaiah will hold his breath to swallow

which can cause an apnea event. They are rare and so far have just required stimulating Isaiah to get his oxygen level

up but as you can imagine a great responsibility. He has been sleeping better at night and the "false alarms" have

slowed down which is when the alarm activates but Isaiah right away on his own gets back to proper breathing.

Needless to say this has been heartbreaking and stressful for us. We know and are completely confident that the Lord

is in control. I Corinthians 10:13 has become comforting these past days. Our six year old grandson Ethan has been

placed with his biological father also living in Bend. Our hope is that Ethan will soon be able to spend a few days a week

with us and his brothers

Please pray for a family that just moved about an hour and a half drive from Bend who are new foster parents. They

watched Grayson for the first two weeks during court hearings and are praying about providing respite for us in October.

Grayson loved this family who are former missionaries and the wife is a pediatric nurse. If they are not available pray for

a Christian couple that we know where the wife is a nurse or medically trained and could come and live in our home for

three weeks - ha. We need some miracles and of course we are aware that despite the airline ticket penalty (Emirates

Air was a half price special)Â we may need to postpone our October outreach.

We really appreciate so much those of you who have continued to pray for us and support us financially through this

season of our ministry. The Lord has a reason for all of this so we know he is preparing us.

Another specific request is connected to our website: www.PoliceOutreach.com. A dear brother in Seattle has hosted

this site at no cost for several years but due to a change in direction for him will not be able to continue past September.

I have renewed the hosting of the site with Start Logic but only have the old files I worked with before the current site was

developed. If anyone has some IT Web background that could look at the current site online and redevelop it back into

the "construction site" under Start Logics control panel I could put it up live when it was completed. I know enough to

stumble through or screw it up so I am hoping it is fairly cut and paste for someone that I can give the passwords to to

access both sites. Call me at 541-390-2891 if that is something you could handle. By all means feel free to let me know

what we can reimburse for your time

If you have read this far you are a loyal friend and co-laborer. We are doing better each day but must tell you the past

few weeks have been exhausting. We are thankful for so many that have made it known that they want to help us. Just

having someone at our home with two year old Grayson for a time helps with the basics like having time to cut the lawn!

We love Grayson and Isaiah and look forward to seeing Ethan again as well. We are looking forward to the day to just

being grandparents again but know this is a tremendously worthwhile investment in their little lives right now. The Lord is

still in the business of restoring lives!

To all you young moms out there may we humbly bow and pay our respects for all you do. You are not thanked

enough. Yes TIRED but my wonderful wife is still a GREAT gramma (mom again for awhile)Â and nurse!

Our thanks again to Sandy Otsuji (Safe Harbor CEO) and Pastor Dan Gettemy (Safe Harbor Board Member) who drove

three hours each way together from Vancouver, WA to Bend, OR just to visit us for a few hours and pray for our family!

appreciative, and only coming out of the water long enough for lunch. Pray for the older kids (13-15 years)

who can be very challenging as they push the limits and can have a sense of entitlement. Please pray for Rob,

he has such a big heart for the children. I am continually amazed to see his gifts of patience and mercy in

action.

I want to connect more with the girls and build personal relationships. I have begun writing letters to the

girls as they prepare for release. I am also keeping track of birthdays for cards, and writing encouragement

cards as the Lord leads. Please pray I will persist in this as writing doesn’t come easy to me.

CP (JH) and I met shortly before her release. We talked about the wrong choices she was making and how

her family was impacted. C. affirmed her trust in Jesus so I challenged her regarding putting off her old life and

putting on her new life. She has a serious addiction. Pray she will find strength in trusting God and go to

church rather than running back to her friends and the drugs.

SS (JH) has much brokenness inside that only God can heal. She speaks of reincarnation... another

chance/life to do better pray she will know that Christ died ONCE for ALL.

SR (JH) amazes me most any question the other girls ask, she has the right answer straight from the Bible.

Pray she will live out the Truth inside of her.

DC (YGC) continues to struggle emotionally as she so desperately wants to break away from her old life. She

has a huge past to overcome. Please pray for the fierce battle raging for her very life and future. Financial Support: Pacific Youth Correctional Ministries (Gift #028), P.O. Box 8875, Redlands, CA 92375

We place our focus on facilitating short term mission teams, supporting various ministries by demonstrating the love of

Jesus Christ through teaching, serving, and meeting physical, and spiritual needs.

We are also working in partnership with nationals constructing “Casa Paraiso” a mission’s base located near the

Panama Canal, where we will evangelize, train, and send missionaries throughout Panama.

Prayers:

I have been in the interior of panama, "off the grid" so unable to send or receive emails for some time. A recent back

injury has me back in Panama City getting physical therapy, while spending a lot of quiet/still time with God. I need

prayer for quick recovery as a team of engineers and builders will be here next week to build a 90ft pedestrian bridge.

Also pray I would be filled with the Holy Spirit and would be able to spiritually affect the team. Another high school group

from central California will be here the last week of June, so please pray for divine appointments, and just a overall

blessed trip. Thanks for your heart for missions. Thank you I covet your prayers.

Facebook: “SONRISE PANAMA” where I post weekly prayer requests, updates, and photos. Don and Danka Zellmer (Campus Crusade for Christ – Colorado Springs, CO) – August 2015

He called me several nights ago - a sense of urgency was in his voice. Don, what is happening to the church

in America? Are we asleep? I believe prayer is the only answer! I first met Tunde on the metro in Moscow,

Russia, when we were living there in the early 90’s. He was a nineteen year old exchange student from Nigeria,

studying petroleum engineering, and fluent in several languages. We had him in our home often he loved Jesus

and we loved having him around. Long hours were spent in conversation. He has now been living in America for

over 12 years, working in his expertise down in Texas, along with his wife and 3 children. I find it interesting to

see different interpretations of the same painting on the canvas. Is there urgency in my voice? Am I praying?

It truly is my spiritual food duchowy pokarm. I am honest in saying that I can struggle to get that daily time

with the Lord to be alone and have my mind focused only on Him praying, seeking, desiring, wanting and yet I

know that I need His daily perspective. Reading Psalm 19 this morning gave me that vivid reminder. Danka and

I desire to stay fully engaged in the battle Here I am, Lord, use that our words and thoughts and actions would

be pleasing to Him.

The daily cycle of news we want to stay informed, to be current relevant knowledgeable as to the situation in

which we live. Do not lose heart be praying for our nation. Be strong and take heart, all you who hope in the

Lord, Psalm 31:24.

Every year Class of 2015 dismissed! always around that 3rd week in May, we have the privilege of attending

the festivities surrounding the Air Force Academy graduation. Tributes and reminders and challenges and

accolades and many, many words and speeches. I smile a lot during that time there is reason to feel proud. We

do see some of the smartest and brightest come through. But always I have those moments of reminding

myself, unless the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain who build it... Psalm 127:1. We are here for this

season. Lord, allow us to be used of You to be instruments in the lives of others. And allow us to be good

stewards of our time our talents our resources. Amen.

Megan and others commented with enthusiasm, about the opportunity to come into the Polish schools and

talk about their personal life and faith, and how they were integrated. This is exciting for us, because we do not

get this opportunity in our country. A very profound and telling statement of where we are at as a nation and the

direction we are heading. I recalled with them, how in the late 70’s with the Athletes in Action wrestling team, we

would go all over southern California, using the sport of wrestling, speaking in public venues, putting on

assemblies and clinics, and openly sharing our faith with young people and we could do it in the schools. The

times are rapidly changing.

Something is stirring in my heart and I am not sure how God wants to use it. I see tremendous openness

opportunity hunger need whenever I get out there, and especially when I travel beyond. Ultimately, the real and

deepest human needs are going to be spiritual. On our recent trip to California, I constantly found myself

thinking and praying Lord, all these different gifted folks teachers, engineers, doctors, builders, faithful workers

and folks in business, whoever people from every stripe and color. They can be used to help change the

world!• Sure, we all reach that age of slowing down the pace. But would it not be exciting to get on a plane or

a boat, or even simply take a drive into the inner-city, and getting involved in an environment or a culture or a

world that is a little different than our own? Pray this simple prayer Here I am, God, use me! Amen.• Financial Support: Campus Crusade for Christ (Acct#0107493), P.O. Box 628222, Orlando FL 32862-8222
