Summer Harvest Baptism Night On Wednesday, August 8, we are going to have a special service that centers on baptism. It is our attempt to complete the harvest that God has sent our way this summer. If you would like to be baptized, please call the Church Office and speak to Angie or me. This will be a special service and a great time to be obedient to our Lord in doing what He wants us to do. This is open to all who need to be baptized. If you have any questions call me.

This Sunday This coming Sunday morning while Pastor Paul is spending some quality time with his daughter, I will preach in the morning services and Gary Martin, the pastor of our mission, Southern Community Fellowship, will be preaching that evening. My sermon will focus on a “fresh filling.” After the pm service we will have a dessert fellowship. Please pray that God would be glorified.

Mission Report On Sunday evening, August 12, we will have a report from our mission activities this summer. Please make plans to attend.

All Teachers and Team Coordinators Remember our meeting after the 10:45 Worship Celebration on Sunday, August 19. We will review the new Life Connection Group material. This is very important. Please attend.

Preschool MinistryFaith@Home for Parents of Preschoolers This week in LCG, your child learned “my actions can help other people.” Connecting Points this week: Talk about ways your family could help people in your community. Find volunteer opportunities for your family on a community website, a local charity newsletter, or other resource; or plan an activity your family could do at your church to help. Tell your child that your family can work together to help people.

Children’s MinistryChildren’s Life Connection Group Promotion We will be promoting our LCG’s on Sunday, August 12. You can expect a postcard in the mail to help you find your new classroom and a contact from your new teachers. We still need four teachers and four helpers in Children’s LCG. If you are interested in serving, call Charles or Carol in the Church Office.
