Monday, September 8 The conference takes place in Hotel Thermal I.P. Pavlova 11 Karlovy Vary http://www.thermal.cz/en/ The registration desk in Hotel Thermal is open from 10:00 till 17:00 Note that both participants and accompanying persons will need to register before they can attend the Welcome/Icebreaker later on this Monday, 18:00-19:30. The numbers at the oral and poster presentations in the programme (e.g. #78 and #76 on Monday afternoon) refer to the identification numbers of abstracts, as they appear in the Volume of Abstracts. Authors of this Monday afternoon are requested to hand in their USB memory stick with oral presentation at the registration desk before 12:00 hours. Welcome/Icebreaker on Monday 8 September, 18:00-19:30 Welcome/Icebreaker will take place at the HOT SPRING COLONNADE (in Czech language: Vřídelní kolonáda) in the centre of the spa zone of Karlovy Vary. GPS: 50°13'20.812"N, 12°52'59.207"E It is about 10 minutes’ walk from Thermal Hotel (conference venue). Follow the pedestrian zone along the river Tepla and you will see the glass walls of the Hot Spring Colonnade in front of you. The Hot Spring Colonnade is the only one with glass walls and – inside – the high Hot Water Spring (in Czech language: Vřídlo). The Vřídlo hot spring is the symbol of Karlovy Vary. Vřídlo is the only source of thermal water used for the local spa baths, shooting 72°C mineral water up to 12 metres at an average rate of 2000 litres per minute.

Note: The Hot Spring Colonnade has several entrances, please look around to find the MinWat2014 banner and our hostesses, they will navigate you to the Welcome/Icebreaker area. Thank you.
