Introduction

The digital economy has driven changes in the mindset of individuals and organizations in economic decision making, especially as a result of the development of the internet and mobile communication device technology. In short, the digital economy is become more driver in the evolution of the economy.

This is an era where the phenomena of IoT, big data, nanotechnology, robotics, block-chain, drones and artificial intelligence have been the main triggers in this revolution. A revolution that also enables social transformation in the world of medical and health, education, mobility and infrastructure, fin-tech, food and agriculture, energy and resources, as well as the environment and climate change. The latest developments that occur are issues regarding to sustainability.

Responding to the described global situation, the Faculty of Economics intends to hold an international seminar as a forum for discussion for lecturers and students with digital economists, both conventional and sharia, applied for within and outside the country. The authority of this international seminar and conference is intended to conduct this event as an effort to update and completing the curriculum of the Faculty of Economics. Besides, this seminar also expected to provides a forum for lecturers in fulfilling the tri dharma requirements of tertiary institutions, in research and support activities.

Objective

The objectives of the scientific forum are:

Provides a media for scientific publications and curriculum development

Updating content in teaching materials

Strengthening regional and international network
