Monterey, San Mateo, Kings Southern Counties: Los Angeles, San
Bernardino, Riverside
SWH PILOT Units: Each of the 11 agencies will install 2
units in their respective Counties Completed: 18 units
-16 Closed Loop Systems1 electric15 natural gas-2 Open Loop Systems1electric1 natural gasThe last 3 units in Los Angeles County may be combined into a 4-6 unit multi-family building.

-Manufacturer developed the panels with a DOE grant-Light weight: 19 lbs each-Dimensions: 6 ft X 20 ins X 3 ins-Closed Loop system: 4 collectors

Demand and Global Warming Pollution Sacramento – Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger signed yet another landmark
solar power bill today, The Solar Water Heating and Efficiency Act of 2007 (AB 1470), authored by Assemblymember Jared Huffman (Marin) and sponsored by Environment California. At a celebratory event at the CAL EPA headquarters, supporters of the bill touted its promise of creating a mainstream market for solar water heating technologies by offering $250 million in rebates for California consumers over the next ten years.
