rotation and output channel ID, which you just configured in the web-based
software. (This manual is an example based on 2x1 layouts with 2x projectors.) Click
[OK]:
Config
9
Config
You need to setup below configuration for tube blender, click [Config] at the tools bar:
Enable multiphase antialiasing: checked as default, used to enhance the
unified and smooth image output.
Enable grayscale enhancements: checked as default, used to enhance the
image output quality.
Layouts: the total resolution and the overlapped size.
Horizontal/Vertical tube: used for the horizontal or vertical tube application.
Geometry
10
Geometry
To adjust the geometry, you need to adjust the corner points and outer lines to be
aligned with the projection screen (canvas) then adjust inner lines and crossed points.
Press F6 and/or F7 to make all lines uniformed. You are able to add more lines or
columns to nudge more details.
Below pictures show the geometry display and software interface prior to the
adjustment, with lines and columns not aligned.

2. Select 0-1 display, adjustment the outer points and lines to be aligned with the
projection screen. Click [Uniform grid], [Linear grid] and make sure the overlapped
area placed at the middle of the whole projection screen.
3. Adjust the rows and columns of each projector and make them aligned and
overlapped well. Then click [Uniform grid], see below pictures.
Geometry

4. Select 0-0 display, click [Add right col]; select 0-1 display, click [All left col]. (See
below pictures). Select the point and move the columns of 0-0 and 0-1 then move
them to align with each other, click [Uniform grid] after each movement. Note: You
shall move 0-0 and 0-1 both to make sure the overlapped area placed at the middle
of projection screen.
5. When moving the columns, the rows and points on them will be adjusted, now you
shall add more rows and adjust them again. Click [Uniform grid] to make sure the
grids are aligned. See below:

6. Add more rows and columns then adjust the points that not aligned. After this, do
NOT click [Uniform grid] or [Linear grid]. See below:
When you add more rows or columns failed, please setup the max. rows/ columns
quantity in the settings menu. See below:
Black boost
16
Black boost
The overlapped area always is brighter due the light leaking of projectors. By this black
boost (or black level uplift), the EBC will increase the brightness of the non-overlap area
to make sure the resulting display is seamless and avoid dips, dots, or bright spots. See
below pictures including the black boost interface in the software:

value. When one projection is much darker than another one, please increase the
white value.
The description as below:
1. Select one point on the line (with current value 128), the projection will show the
color with this value:
2. The right projection is darker and much blue, check [White] color and increase the
value; check [Blue] decrease the value. Then adjust red and green separately. The

Feather/S-Curve
25
Feather/ S-Curve
To adjust the brightness and color to make sure that the ‘blend’ is basically an S-shaped
curve that is applied to gradually reduce the brightness of the image at the edge. With
this feature, the user is able to nudge the overlapped edge to make resulting seamless
and unify image.
Below show the adjusting points in the overlapped area, you are abled to add more
points.
