How To Easily Make More Money With Your Calendar:

Gaining Awareness & Increasing Donations

A University Calendar caught the eyes of donors and supporters for a whole year, by printing a calendar that thanked alumni for their donations.

Design a calendar that is mailed as a gift to potential donors, alumni or supporters to raise money. This particular university was over 140 years old. The idea for their 2009 calendar was to show alumni for a whole year how their donation over the years has helped make the university what it is today. They featured university photographs from the past and present.

“Where our old school calendar broke even and was hardly worth the effort, our new calendar made over

$5,000,” says Nathan Garner, Band Director at Hamilton High School. “Our program depends on fundraising. We

can’t afford unproductive, generic efforts.”
