The Rocanville Cooperative Playschool
The Rocanville Cooperative Playschool would like to send out a
bunch of "Thank Yous" this month. We would like to thank the
business community of Rocanville and area for all the wonderful
donations for our christmas basket raffle. TD Bank for the use of
their space and donation of supplies. Rocanville Co-op for the
donation of ground beef for chilli. As well as the parents who
donated time and chilli to our sale. We are so happy to have such a
wonderfully supportive community. Secondly, we would like to say a
HUGE thank you to the Rocanville Co-op for donating the laminate
flooring for our new space. This is so appreciated and incredibly
generous. Last but certainly not least, we want to send out a loving

Kids Cooking Classes
Starting Wednesday, February 22nd from 3:45-
5:15
These classes will be instructed by Chef Adam and
Chef Kaitlyn of The Butcher and Baker Co.
Cost will be $60 per student and this class will be
for kids 8-12. They will take place at St. Paul’s
United Church .

a list of their members. This way we know who to contact when a question or issue comes up.
If cost is a barrier for your children to participate in sports please call or visit the office and we
would be happy to provide you with a KidsSport form.
Our Annual General Meeting will be held on Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at the Hall @ 7:30pm.

Rocanville Recreation Summer Program
We are excited to announce that we will be offering a PRE-SUMMER PROGRAM from
February 21–23, 2017 as a “kick-off” for the 2017 Summer Program that runs from July to
August. We have prepared lots of fun winter themed crafts and cool outdoor activities. We
will also be making and serving our first business lunch of the year on February 22nd.
The hours of this Pre-Summer Program will be:
8:30am-9:00am - Drop Off Period
5:00pm-5:30pm - Pick Up Period
A bagged lunch is required.
Cost is $12 per day or $25 for the full 3 days.
Ages 5-12.
Spaces are limited so please pre-register your child by February 15th by emailing

Rocanville Playground Committee
The current wooden play structure is 30 plus
years old and is beyond repair.
Playground equipment is very, costly and we
have been working hard at this but still have a
long way to go.
This project will be funded solely by donations
and fundraising efforts. Some of the
fundraisers that are coming up include:
Spring Family Bingo
Hot lunches
This structure will bring joy to the community
for many years to come! If you would like to
