Facts about Calcium• About 99% of the
calcium in your body is stored in your bones and teeth. It's what keeps your bones and teeth strong.
• If you don’t get enough calcium your bones and teeth won't have enough calcium, and they'll become weak and brittle.
• Calcium isn't found free in nature, but it can be purified into a soft silvery-white metal.
Uses of Calcium By Humans• Calcium compounds are
absolutely necessary for teeth and bones.
• Calcium also helps muscles work properly.
• Without calcium, muscles and bones can’t function.
Common Isotopes
• Ca-40• Ca-41• Ca-42• Ca-43• Ca-44
