Hotel AireThe design of Hotel Aire will make multiple generations feel like this space is designed
for them. The inspiration for this design was modern organic. The neutral wood
tones mixed with the earthy feel of the greenery walls create a very serene, relaxing
environment while the modern furniture and lighting add a sense of excitement.
Working spaces allow for business meetings and collaborative work to be done while
the restaurant and lounge area would allow for casual get-togethers or a hangout space
at the bar. The functionality and aesthetics of Hotel Aire would keep all ages coming
back for generations to come.

Casual Space
Natural - Multiple studies have shown that people feel better when they are in a natural environment. An abundance of natural light and plants are beneficial to our well-being. It reduces stress, improves mood, and helps create a stronger feeling of unity.
Professional - Studies have shown that areas for professionals to create a remote workspace are becoming more prevalent in hotel design. Technology is booming and travelers are bringing their gadgets with them to work while they are away.
Casual - As the line between office and social life continues to fade, hotels are now creating spaces for people to mingle and socialize casually. When people are in a more casual setting they are able to relax and communicate better.

The Frink’s came to me wanting to transform their unfinished basement into a space
for entertaining and family. They are a family of four with two little ones and they
wanted to add on to their usable space. They wanted the basement to be a place that
they could go to relax and have fun. They wanted storage space, a guest room, and a
place to watch movies and hang out with guests. This was accomplished with an open
living space with a bar and room for a pool table. A guest room was added as well as
a full bath to add to the value of the home as well as give the family a fully equipped
entertaining space. The design was created to flow with the rest of the house and to
also fit with the clients’ personality. Overall, the basement remodel design was a perfect
fit for the family of four.

The idea behind The Garden Bistro is for it to feel just like the name implies, a garden.
This will be done with the use of natural materials and warm neutrals. The neutral
hues will help create emphasis on the greenery walls. A mixture of organic shapes
and clean lines will help this place feel modern as well as rustic. The natural materials
mixed with the industrial materials will help create a harmonious space that really
creates the feeling of being in the garden.

The tone of Abalone will be sophisticated and minimal with the clean linear lines of
architecture, seating, and surfaces. The mix of materials used will
emphasize contrast between the deeper darker more subdued colors and airy accents
as well as texture making the space feel luxurious and sophisticated. We have an
emphasis on sustainable materials so reusing, repurposing and reinventing materials is
a goal and could be a potential highlight of the space.
