BJÖRN BORG THUNDERWEARTM WITH SPACE MATERIAL TO PROTECT STEEL WORKERS

We’re creating underwear together with bleeding edge space designers and the Swedish Steel industry.

Our goal? To provide steel workers with flame proof undies that can handle extreme heat (350°) and hard core environments like steel factories and space travel.

TO DROP A POTATO CRISP INTO A BAG WITHOUT BREAKING IT IS A SIMILAR CHALLENGE TO THE LANDING OF A SPACECRAFT !

By modeling, simulation and calculation HTG was able to develop a crisps-bag-filling-system for Rovema.

The new filling machine does the packaging 30 to 50 % faster than before.

STUDYING GALACTIC ANTIMATTER HELPS BOOST MEDAL-WINNING ARTIFICIAL LIMBS

Europe's Alpha Magnetic Spectrometer (AMS-01) studies matter, antimatter and 'missing' matter. Its development gave rise to a light-weight, high-strength carbon-fibre material that can also be used in prosthetic limbs.

This technology is helping disabled people regain mobility and conquer challenges. In 2008, a German athlete set Paralympic world records in long jump and sprint competitions using this multifunctional material.
