advancing The arT of The auTomobile.When it comes to style, Cadillac’s SRX is simply beyond comparison. The profile is fresh and contemporary and the lines and intersections, crisp. The stance is powerful, with large-diameter alloy wheels pushed out towards the corners of the vehicle for greater stability and a smoother ride. Bold details, like those glittering, oversize headlights, reward closer scrutiny. And, perhaps best of all, while its looks are unmistakably modern, SRX honours its proud Cadillac heritage with a variety of subtle styling touches, including the suggestion of tailfins in the tail light design. The result is nothing less than automotive sculpture.

oh yes you can.SRX was conceived to fit gracefully into any situation and handle every challenge with ease and style.

With all seats in position, the cabin offers room for five lucky occupants and up to 839 litres of their gear behind the rear seat. Fold the 60/40 divided rear seatbacks down and the cargo area more than doubles to

a generous 1733 litres – enough to deal with almost any need. Should you wish to carry even more bulky cargo, SRX’s standard roof rails and available crossbars* are engineered to fit a huge variety of racks and cargo boxes.

If you have still bigger loads in your future, SRX is engineered to tow trailers weighing as much as 1588 kg, when properly equipped. And to help avoid damage to the liftgate in garages or other places where low clearence

can be an issue, the available power liftgate can be programmed to open only to a pre-determined height.

A great driving machine requires a great driver interface, and you will find SRX has one of the very best available. The gorgeous round backlit gauges are supplemented

by a full-colour centre display capable of relaying a wide variety of driving information, including warnings about upcoming curves and changes in the speed limit. A ten-way

power bucket driver’s seat and a leather-wrapped steering wheel that’s tilt and telescopically adjustable make it a simple matter for every driver to achieve precisely

the right driving position. SRX is also designed to keep you firmly in control by providing you with an excellent view of the world around you, thanks to a high seating

position, expansive glass area and standard heated power adjustable exterior mirrors.

exciTemenT is in iTs dna.SRX shares more than just a heritage with Cadillac’s CTS-v Coupe race cars. SRX’s

road manners were refined at some of the world’s most daunting race tracks, including Germany’s famous Nürburgring, resulting in an invigorating blend of ability, responsiveness

and high-speed stability. For 2012, the SRX experience is even more rewarding, thanks to a new 3.6-litre V6 engine that generates a prodigious 308 horsepower. To make the

most of this thrust, the 6-speed automatic transmission includes Driver Shift Control that lets you choose your own gears to help optimize performance. Efficiency is another

of SRX’s many strengths, with a highway fuel consumption rating of just 8.3 L/100 km.*

Developed with industry leaders Haldex, the SRX system doesn’t simply adjust power distribution between the front and rear wheels as conventional systems do. It also transfers power across the rear axle to the wheel with more grip, thanks to an integrated electronic limited-slip differential. The result is better vehicle balance, increased control and more confidence at all speeds, regardless of whether the road you’re on is dry, wet or snow-covered.

Any time integrated crash sensors indicate that a collision has taken

place, the vehicle immediately sends that information to the OnStar®

you’re unable to respond, the Advisor can determine your exact location

via GPS and dispatch the appropriate emergency services.*

ONSTAR REMOTELINkTM

A new feature for 2012, the OnStar RemoteLinkTM app makes it easy to
