The MEISINGER LUSTER® for Zirconia polishing system has been specially developed for use on monolithic zirconium oxide restorations, e.g. LavaTM Plus. The system includes diamond polishers for intraoral and extra-oral use. Both sets consist of a two-stage polishing system that can be used entirely without polishing paste
and produces an excellent high gloss finish. Further instruments for adjusting contact points or areas round off the system perfectly. The instruments are well organized in the high quality bur block and can be conve-niently sterilized after use.

LUSTER® for e.max® offers the user a two-stage polishing system entirely without polishing paste. The result is convincing
with its brilliant high gloss. Further instruments for grin-ding contact points or areas round off the system perfectly. The instruments are well organized in the high quality bur block and can be conveniently sterilized after use.

MEISINGER products in practical testing
The result of the surface roughness test shows that the material surface is significantly less rough after polishing with MEISINGER polishers than after polishing with competitor products.

The temperature measurement takes place after 1 x 30 seconds of polishing the material test body. MEISINGER products demonstrate more gentle results with the test material than the competitors.

The graph shows the percentage weight loss between the weight of the delivery state and after 4 x 30 seconds of polishing. The MEISINGER product shows a clearly lower level of wear.
Reflection test

Temperature test
The temperature measurement takes place after 1 x 30 seconds of polishing the material test body. With 34.62 degrees, the MEISINGER pro-ducts show a very good and more gentle result than the competitor products.

The experimentAim:To evaluate the performance of two different ceramic test specimens with different polishing systems.
Conditions:• Unified sample preparation using a grinding wheel.• The duration of polishing is 30 seconds per polishing level.• Polishing is performed with a rotary speed of 10.000 rpm• Polishing is performed without water or spray cooling.• After polishing, the test specimens are rinsed with clear tap water and dried with compressed air.
Result:All results represent the respective calculated mean value for the instrument tested. In comparison with the competitors, the MEISINGER products boast advantages across the board and take 1st place in all categories!

In the reflection test, the MEISINGER polishers are clearly in 1st place with an outstanding result and leave the competitors way behind.
