Race 1

1. DREAM DE SAINT SO - Modest trotter making first appearance since the winter and chances slim

2. DJANGO RUDELANDE - Delicate but can trot when applied. Showed his form on Monday despite losing his action and with Gelormini in charge this time will be afforded every chance

3. DISCO D'EM - Unremarkable trotter with better credentials in the other code and can be passed over

4. DUOMO - Very useful at this level of competition but unseen since last autumn and will have few takers

5. DISCO - Moderate sort that tends to show more when unshod. Trounced last

time and no threat

6. DIVIN ANAXEL - Solid in all but one race this season. Beat his personal best at Caen last time and can make his presence felt

7. DENFERT DU RELAIS - Showed his form at Ranes last time but has no love for Cabourg and can be passed over

8. ECU DU LEVANT - Adores Cabourg but considerably better in the other code and has no realistic chance

9. DELADO - Rarely far from the action when applied. Went close on only start here and going first time barefoot looks a serious proposition

10. EXPRESSO - Has two races in him following a long absence. Looked good at Clairefontaine and will not be far off the mark

11. EDEN AGE - Has hardly set a foot wrong this term. Is confirmed under these conditions and from the front line will have his chances

12. EMBRUN DE LANDEMER - Serious type that encountered traffic problems here recently. Will be reined by a leading driver this time and can impose

13. EXPRESS WAY - Decent sort but out off competition since February and poses no danger

14. ENVOL SOMOLLI - Fine servant but has not been seen out since December and will need the race

15. EDDY DES MULOTTES - Hardy sort that trotted a good second over course and distance a fortnight ago and can again play a leading role

Summary

(12) EMBRUN DE LANDEMER did not have the most fortunate of runs here a fortnight ago but gets a Yoann Lebourgeois drive this time and can turn the tables on the hardy (15) EDDY DES MULOTTES who finished second that day. In the frame in two of three this season and solid on his only appearance here (9) DELADO is barefoot for the first time and from the front line can go far. (11) EDEN AGE seldom lets the side down when focused and present form augurs well for his chances.

Selections

Race 2

1. VAROUGE D'EREVAN - Unremarkable veteran that already looks thoroughly outclassed and will have few takers

2. DISCO DES MOLANDS - Has been enjoying a good run recently and pleased here a fortnight ago but steps up in class and chances reduced

3. DIAMANT DE TREABAT - Is presently far off the level she attained last season and latest efforts have done nothing to convince

4. ESPION JAUNE - Good class of trotter that always gives his best. Is clearly in form and from the front row can challenge for a spot on the podium

5. VOLTORB D'OLIVERIE - Can trot on a good day but looked ordinary here last week and can be ruled out

6. DRYADE DU PARC - Classy mare with an enviable Cabourg record. Will be at peak fitness and can bring home the bacon

7. AND GIBUS - A total write off since winning at Argentan 20 months ago and has no realistic chance

8. DAIDA DE VANDEL - Serious mare that always gives her best. Surprisingly beaten by (11) AL CAPONE JET last time but is thoroughly capable of turning the tables

9. VIVIER DE L'OISON - Quality element that was surprisingly below par in a Vincennes Gr.3 last time. Has a decent Cabourg record but still no more than a minor place prospect

10. CLARA DU PONTSEUIL - Has ability but regularly bites off more than she can chew. At this level though can play a small role

11. AL CAPONE JET - Delicate sort that trotted fourth in the 2018 edition. Showed his form at Vincennes three weeks ago and must be afforded respect

12. ACCORD MARJACQ - Superb last season but unplaced in three this year. Won one of three here but others still preferred

13. CEYLAN DAIRPET - Prix Fandango incumbent. Seldom seen under the saddle but is in form and with application will be no pushover

14. VOLCAN DE BELLANDE - Has ample ability but not presently at his sharpest and best to wait

Summary

Prepared for this event and ideally positioned on the front line, Gr.2 winner (6) DRYADE DU PARC returns to a track she adores and should have this in the bag. (13) CEYLAN DAIRPET won this race twelve months ago and even though

Page 4: CABOURG - 19th July · 2. DJANGO RUDELANDE - Delicate but can trot when applied. Showed his form on Monday despite losing his action and with Gelormini in charge this time will be

on the second line is still capable of repeating. (8) DAIDA DE VANDEL seldom lets the side down when focused and will justifiably garner significant support. (4) ESPION JAUNE is well in on the first row and will have his chances if he gets to the front early.

Selections

Race 3

1. DEESSE DE GUERON - Good mare that was unlucky in a similar race here a fortnight ago but can make the first five if she keeps her action together

2. CLASSIC CONNECTION - Comes here on the back of a good Class A victory in Paris. Unlikely to pull off the hat trick but will still have a lot to offer

3. CLEDERE DE L'AIROU - Not the most dependable but is confirmed right handed. Gave a good account at Durtal last weekend and must be respected

4. BLACKARO - Got back in the game last weekend beating (3) CLEDERE DE L'AIROU but shoes back on and unlikely to repeat

5. DOSTOIEVSKI - Can prove a handful but has form at this level. Gave a good account on recent comeback and going barefoot this time looks dangerous

6. ANDIAMO DE MONCHEL - Useful on a good day but yet to get into his stride this term and not an obvious choice

7. DEVIRMONT - Somewhat erratic but has never failed to fire here. In excellent form with a leading driver and can make the frame

8. EUGENITO DU NOYER - Twice a Gr.2 winner in last three starts but races shod with his handler in the sulky and best to wait

9. BLOOMER - Good class of horse but significantly more productive under the saddle and no chance on first start back

10. DARLHEY DU RIB - Seldom seen under harness these days. Here for a change of scenery and can be ruled out

11. COLT DES ESSARTS - Excellent servant that has won three of four here. Has not been seen out for two months and stays shod but still one to note

12. EYE OF THE STORM - Delicate sort with better references in the other code. Unseen for ten months and not a priority

13. CANTIN DE L'ECLAIR - Yet to reproduce the form he showed last season and latest efforts do little to inspire confidence

14. VALOKAJA HINDO - Fine trotter that has been flying for some time. Third to Cleangame in a Vichy Gr.2 recently and can impose

15. ARIBO MIX - Quality element that reassured at Royan last Sunday. Never closer than 5th here but will have his supporters

16. BLUES DES LANDIERS - In the thick of things for the most part and most recently 5th to (15) ARIBO MIX. Has won under these conditions and must be retained

Summary

Page 6: CABOURG - 19th July · 2. DJANGO RUDELANDE - Delicate but can trot when applied. Showed his form on Monday despite losing his action and with Gelormini in charge this time will be

One of the most consistent horses here (14) VALOKAJA HINDO drops back in class for his Cabourg debut and even from the second line looks to have the measure of his in-form stablemate (5) DOSTOIEVSKI who breaks with a 25m head-start. The Cabourg-loving (7) DEVIRMONT is clearly in good shape and with Yoann Lebourgeois in the hot seat looks a serious player. (2) CLASSIC CONNECTION comes here on the back of two good victories and even with shoes on can still figure prominently. (1) DEESSE DE GUERON can get in on the action provided she can maintain stride.

Selections

(14) VALOKAJA HINDO - (5) DOSTOIEVSKI - (7) DEVIRMONT - (2) CLASSIC CONNECTION - (1) DEESSE DE GUERON - (3) CLEDERE DE L'AIROU - (15)

Race 4

1. ELEVEN D'AUBRIERE - Has shown no aptitude for either code and has no realistic chance

2. EAULYMPIK CEHERE - Useful sort on a good day but has not been seen out since last autumn and will need the run

3. EOLE PRINCIER - Modest sort that surprised at Le Croise Laroche last month. Failed to confirm next time and chances slim

4. EFFET SECOND - Has placed just once in seven this year and unlikely to worry the opposition on Cabourg debut

5. EUROPEAN CHARM - A total write off for past 16 months and will have few friends

6. EUGENE GAILLARD - Erratic but showed his form at Amiens a fortnight ago. Winner of his only start here and can go far

7. ENTRE DEUX TOON'S - Capable on a good day but has placed just once in four here. In decent shape but chances reduced with shoes on

8. EXCALIBUR ARTHUR - Very hard to fault when focused. Lefebvre races him barefoot this time and can win this

9. ELGINO - Like a horse reborn since starting to race unshod all four. Is confirmed going clockwise and should not be far off the mark

10. ELEVEN SHAPTER - Decent sort that left a good impression at Le Mont Saint Michel on Monday but stays shod here and others preferred

11. ECLAIR DES PRES - Alternates the good with the less good but won two of last three races going right handed and in present form must be respected

12. ECLAIR DREAM - Has looked decidedly ordinary all season and can be confidently passed over

13. ECLAIR DU GOSIER - Gritty course and distance winner ten days ago. Lebourgeois has opted for another but still looks a player

14. EMILIANO ZAPATA - Tricky but has bags of ability. First time with hind shoes off and on good behaviour can make a big splash

15. ESPOIR ARCTIC - Good campaigner with a superb entry here. Clearly in form and can pick up a stake

Summary

(8) EXCALIBUR ARTHUR can prove something of a handful but he is presented barefoot for the first time and with one of the hottest drivers in charge can get back to winning ways. In similar fashion the delicate but talented (14) EMILIANO

Page 8: CABOURG - 19th July · 2. DJANGO RUDELANDE - Delicate but can trot when applied. Showed his form on Monday despite losing his action and with Gelormini in charge this time will be

ZAPATA has hind shoes off for the first time and if applied can give him a run for his money. (6) EUGENE GAILLARD would have finished in the frame last time had he stayed in stride and on good behaviour can redeem himself. Lebourgeois has deserted recent course and distance winner (13) ECLAIR DU GOSIER for the selection but Gabriele Gelormini is an excellent replacement.

Selections

Race 5

1. FUNNY GUY - Has looked a better horse with hind shoes off. Caught the eye at Graignes and with application can pick up a cheque

2. FETICHEUR - Regularly displays a lack of discipline but can trot. Better a level down though and others preferred

3. FLASH QUICK - Regularly indisciplined but has ample ability. Won for Lebourgeois at Bernay and with application can repeat

4. FONCE VICOMTE - Faithful servant for the most part and goes well right handed. Pleased on only outing with Lagadeuc and will have his supporters

5. FUN D'ERONVILLE - One start here. One win. Found his way again last weekend and in similar form can play a leading role

6. FANGIO MADRIK - Has taken well to racing barefoot. Comes here on a three timer and while unlikely to pull it off can still get in on the action

7. FAUST DE BEYLEV - Has placed just once in seven here. Yet to deliver at Cabourg and chances limited

8. FLAMENCO FAC - Hardy colt that goes either direction. Benefits from an excellent entry and racing first time barefoot can make a big splash

9. FANFARO BELLO - Respectable type with nothing to prove at this level but the penalty does him no favours

10. FEELING MESLOIS - Delicate but has ample ability. Yet to get into his stride this term but worth retaining all the same

11. FISTON DU VIVIER - Not once out of the frame when focused. Lost his action early here ten days ago but on good behaviour can play a role

12. FLUO MESLOIS - Significantly better in the other code. Presently struggling with stride problems and can be ruled out

13. FLY DU QUENNE - Flew up under these conditions early July when first time barefoot. Same formula this time and even though 25m worse off still looks a player

14. FANZI DU GLANON - Transformed since starting to race unshod but shoes back on this time and chances limited

15. FASCINOSO DE LOU - Useful type in both codes but unraced since April 2018 and will need the outing

Summary

Front line starters look to have the advantage here with the in-form (3) FLASH QUICK looking eminently capable of winning this but Lebourgeois will need to

Page 10: CABOURG - 19th July · 2. DJANGO RUDELANDE - Delicate but can trot when applied. Showed his form on Monday despite losing his action and with Gelormini in charge this time will be

keep him in stride. Winner of his only start at the venue (5) FUN D'ERONVILLE recently reassured at Clairefontaine and looks the principal threat. Barring the occasional misstep (8) FLAMENCO FAC is as regular as they come and going first time barefoot will only work to his advantage. (13) FLY DU QUENNE imposed with ease over course and distance earlier in the month and even though 25m worse off this time still looks to have a good hand to play.

Race 6

1. GO FOR JET - Well beaten in both starts to date and can be ruled out

2. GROOVE TONIGHT - Won at Le Croise Laroche and must not be too hastily judged for subsequent Enghien sanction. On good behaviour can get a look in

3. GANDHI TURGOT - Unexceptional type with better credentials in the claiming division and will have few takers

4. GOLDWIN SANTIGNY - Consistently in the thick of things. Should appreciate Cabourg profile and is thoroughly capable of making the frame

5. GALWAY DU VIVIER - Won two of the three races he has finished. Yet to deliver on a hard surface though and others preferred

6. GUIDE MOI FORGAN - Disappointing in all three harness starts so far and has no realistic chance

7. GOOD DE TILLARD - In the frame in two of last three. Was not disgraced at Enghien last time and must be afforded respect

8. GOLD PEJI - Serious colt that won smartly three weeks ago. Lagadeuc in charge again and can double up

9. GEORGIO DU DERBY - Fine colt that won twice last season including over shorter here. Entrusted to Lebourgeois for comeback and looks a player

10. GRINGO DU NOYER - Somewhat erratic but left a good impression in a tough bunch last time out and in similar form can go close

11. GIPSY D'EVRON - Not without merit but not the most dependable either and in this company will have his work cut out

12. GENERAL DE CONNEE - 19 starts and yet to lose his maiden tag. Has never delivered at Cabourg and is not about to buck the trend

13. GARS DE FALAISE - Has shown limited capacity for the harness code and can be passed over

Summary

It took a little time to wind (8) GOLD PEJI up but he won very nicely for Francois Lagadeuc at Vire and has a fine opportunity to repeat. (10) GRINGO DU NOYER is in excellent form though and can give him something to think about. Winner of two from four last year (9) GEORGIO DU DERBY makes his first appearance of the season but is classy enough to get straight back in the game. (4) GOLDWIN SANTIGNY has never failed to deliver and should logically continue his productive ways.

Race 7

1. GALIE GAUDINIERE - Unremarkable filly that showed little on debut last weekend and will have few friends

2. GELINOTTE MOULIN - Sanctioned on debut two months ago at Amiens but nonetheless caught the eye. With application can get a look in

3. GET LOVELY DELO - Sanctioned last month on debut at Caen but Lebourgeois has maintained faith and must be taken seriously

4. GRIVE DU HOULBET - Qualified modestly and sanctioned on debut at Chateaubriant. No threat

5. GLORIA D'AMOUR - Has not shown much aptitude for either discipline and can be passed over

6. GOLDEN GIRL DELO - Yet to stamp her mark on the harness code but has evident ability and looks the sort that can do well under the saddle. Minor place chance

7. GUERNICA SMART - Encouraged on debut but sanctioned in next two. Unseen since late April and unlikely to spring any surprises

8. GLOIRE JOYEUSE - Yet to finish in the first three but showed her form at Vichy last time and in this company can make the frame

9. GOYAVE DARCHE - Not the most productive horse here. Made the frame in a modest event last weekend but at this level will have her work cut out

10. GRANVILLAISE BLEUE - Useful sort that showed marked improvement at Caen last time and expected to confirm

11. GRATIA PIYA - Looked decidedly ordinary on ridden debut last month and has a lot more to find

12. GANACHE TONIC - Moderate filly that was sanctioned on lone ridden start and unlikely to spring any surprises

13. GRACE DE FAEL - Good future prospect in this branch of the business. Imposed with ease at Graignes and looks the main threat to (14) GOLDKITA

14. GOLDKITA - Quality element that flew up first time out and again looks to have the measure of the field

Summary

After performing superbly in qualification at Grosbois (14) GOLDKITA won in similarly good fashion on debut at Reims late last month and should be able to double her money. Well-regarded at home, (13) GRACE DE FAEL opened her ridden account at the first time of asking and is good enough to put up

this line-up

13. GOGO DES MALBERAUX - Fair form. More needed to win but could play a minor role once again. Might place

14. GUERCH SEVEN - Won well on debut. Has been disappointing since but can win a race like this

Summary

(14) GUERCH SEVEN is a good sort but is clearly unreliable. If he shows his best form he should win a race like this. (10) GENERAL DE LOIRON looks to have progressed and can could be winning a race soon enough. (3) GO FAST DESBOIS and (12) GOLD DE BANVILLE come here in good heart and do have a winning chance.

(2) FLAMME DE POURPRIX is consistent and should fight out the finish once again.(4) FATALE DE BOUERE has some good recent form and does have a winning chance. Race 4

1. FLEMINGTON D'AMOUR - Kicked off the year with a victory but has since failed to impress. Needs to improve

2. FOREVER D'ARIANE - Consistent for the most part. Two close-up seconds and a success from last four starts. Be in the mix-up

3. FANAK DU BOCAGE - Long-time maiden who has been threatening of late, finishing second in last two starts. Chance

4. FAMOUS LAST WORDS - In good form at the moment and will attempt to register a third consecutive victory

5. FINGER DES BORDES - Disqualified in last three performances so he is pretty hard to make a case for

6. FEEL SO GOOD - Won latest at Saint Malo and if repeats that attempt has a solid chance

7. FLYING MOKO - Will need to improve a few lengths on last four results to feature. Look elsewhere

8. FLY SPIRIT - Inconsistent dual winner who could fill the minor money placings at best

9. FALCO DE BOURGNEUF - One win from fourteen starts which came at Orleans in April. Not ruled out of a place here

10. FISTON D'HAUFOR - Clearly has ability having recorded a victory and a third from last three starts. Chance

11. FANGIO PINEAU - Has struggled in all six performances this year. Best watched until improvement is made

12. FALMACO DES ANGLES - Has shown improvement of late but needs to do more to play a role here. Outside chance

13. FOREVER DU JOUAN - Clearly not devoid of ability but is hard to trust. Others make more appeal

14. FAVORI DE BANNES - Runner-up in two of last three, including latest at Nantes. Looks a lively contender for top honours

15. FLY DE MONTFORT - Back in the game since starting to race barefoot. Could sneak into the picture

16. FURTY DEBESSE - Inconsistent one-time winner who tends to run in and out of the minor money placings of late

(4) FAMOUS LAST WORDS has done very little wrong in all four career starts and will attempt to register a third consecutive victory. Although a long-time maiden, (3) FANAK DU BOCAGE, has finished close-up second in last two starts, making him a serious contender. (6) FEEL SO GOOD races barefoot and there was a lot to like about his latest success at Saint Malo

Race 5

1. EASY DREAM - Much improved when fifth in latest, but will need to improve a few lengths to win. Best watched for now

2. ELIA DE LA LEUE - Against a field like this, last two results suggest she has a place chance at best

3. ESPOIR D'ANJOU - Long-time maiden who on recent eighth-place finish, is unlikely to trouble the judge

4. EL PASO DE L'OCEAN - Sanctioned in four of last six outings, including latest. Others are preferred

5. ELBOY DE BRENARD - Impressed numerous times last year and could prove the joker in the pack

6. EGERIE DES JOSCO - Triumphant in latest at Caen and if reproduces a similar performance will have a solid chance

7. ELVIS DES LUCAS - Last four efforts under the saddle boast a victory and a second. Player

8. ECHO DU TRIANON - Was runner-up in two consecutive performances prior to winning latest. Chance again

9. ESPERANCE AMAX - Followed up penultimate victory with a game third. Can make a bold bid at winning

10. EDELWEISS PAULCA - Has won four of last seven starts and was far from disgraced when third recently. Be in the mix-up

11. EXTRAVAGANZA - Has won twice this year. Rarely disappoints when not getting disqualified. Consider

12. ESTIL D'OSTAL - Although doesn't know the definition of consistency, he was runner-up in latest and could sneak into the frame again

13. EQUIDIA BEST - Dual winner who tends to get sanctioned more often than not. Tread lightly

Summary

This looks a competitive contest. On paper, (9) ESPERANCE AMAX, makes most appeal having followed up penultimate success with a convincing third. She should finish in the shake-up. (10) EDELWEISS PAULCA looks the obvious danger having impressively won three of last five starts. Both (12) ESTIL D'OSTAL and (8) ECHO DU TRIANON could sneak into the frame again

Race 6

1. ELVIRE DU ROCHER - Delicate but superb in three of last six. Runner-up here on the second time of asking so can play a role

2. ECIJA DE JUPILLES - Recent report cards fail to provide any sort of confidence. Look elsewhere

3. EOLIA DE L'ELLE - Has been disappointing of late but remains barefoot and is capable fighting out the finish

4. ERMINE DU LUDE - Followed up penultimate victory with a fifth. Not completely out of it

5. ELODY DE PERVENCHE - If sparks further improvement on recent second-place finish, could upset the market leaders

6. EMONDEVILLAISE - Will need to improve many lengths on recent form to feature. Best watched until improvement is made

7. EWILLYA BEST - Has only run a place once out seven starts this year so she is hard to make a case for

8. DANSEUSE DE FLAM - Has battled to maintain consistency since winning at Beaumont-de-Lomagne in 2017

9. ETERNITY ROCQ - Considering has been disqualified in last six performances, a win is highly unlikely

Summary

(3) EOLIA DE L'ELLE has been disappointing to say the least, but remains barefoot and on best form is capable of fighting out the finish. (4) ERMINE DU LUDE was triumphant in penultimate start and if brings the same mentality to the racetrack will go very close. (5) ELODY DE PERVENCHE latest attempt when runner-up strongly suggests she will finish in the shake-up again

3. ELITLOVE PASMARICK - Although erratic he goes barefoot and won latest under the saddle. Each way prospect

4. ELIXIR NONANTAIS - Has been pleasing for the most part lately and will have his supporters

5. EL CAPITANO - Won only start at this venue and is obviously better than last two results suggest. Player

6. ELFE ATOUT - Hasn't won for some time now but has threatened on a few occasions and could earn a minor stakes cheque

7. DEXTER DE MAI - Three-time winner who has been in good form this year and can fight out the finish once again

8. DEDE DRIVER - Good recent runs when he was barefoot but is not barefoot on this occasion. Might place

9. ELOI DES EPINES - Simply does not know how to run a poor race. Successful in two of last three and was a close-up second in latest. Serious player

10. DREAM SUN - Remains winless after 57 appearances. Unlikely winner. Place chance at best

11. DJANGO DE BOUP - Third in two consecutive performances prior to being sanctioned in latest. Each way prospect

12. EANDEL SMILING - Current results fail to provide any sort of confidence. Look elsewhere for inspiration

13. ECLAIR DE LORIOL - Inconsistent dual winner who tends to finish in and out of the minor money placings of late

14. DYNAMIQUE STYLE - Will need to improve many lengths on recent form to trouble the market leaders

Summary

Not only has (9) ELOI DES EPINES won two of last three starts, he has only missed the minor money placings three times in 14 outings. On paper looks extremely hard to oppose. Although (3) ELITLOVE PASMARICK's previous form is sketchy, he was an eye-catching victor under the saddle most recently. (5) EL CAPITANO won only start at this venue and (13) ECLAIR DE LORIOL has an

1. BARAKA DE MONCHEL - Sanctioned in three of last four and was beaten into eighth most recently. Others preferred

2. AVIVA D'IQUAINE - Mostly modest form of late and will need to find a few lengths to win this race

3. BALADE JAVANAISE - Prior to being sanctioned in last two starts, this nine-time winner finished third in three of four starts. On those efforts, chance

4. DAME DE BELLOUET - Inconsistent four-time winner who could sneak into the minor money placings at best

5. DANSE D'ETANG - Much improved showing when fifth most recently. Could creep a lot closer today

6. DAME DENFERT - Has the ability and form, but of late tends to finish in and out of the minor money placings

7. BRIHANA - Has been finishing very close to the winners and if sparks further improvement on current fifth-place finish, could pick up a stakes cheque

8. BALLINA D'OURVILLE - Runner-up in two consecutive performances prior to disappointing in last two. If brings best form, she has a solid chance

9. CALINE DE FLEUR - Last nine results suggest she is highly unlikely to trouble the judge. Look elsewhere

10. CARINA DU PARC - Has only missed the first three twice in last eight starts and if reproduces anything close to latest success, she will be hard to peg back

11. CHISTERA - Last three starts aren't a true reflection of her ability. She has 50% win-strike rate at this venue so should not be underestimated

Summary

(10) CARINA DU PARC races unshod and is very hard to fault on recent form having recorded a victory and two seconds from last three starts - one to beat. It's best you put a line through (8) BALLINA D'OURVILLE's last two uncanny results. She was runner-up in two consecutive outings prior and on those efforts has a massive chance. Both (3) BALADE JAVANAISE and (7) BRIHANA shouldn't be too far back passing the finish line

Race 1

1. CAROLINGIEN - Only career success is over 7.5f. Disappointed last time out at Maisons-Laffitte in an identical race

2. VAN MAYOR - One place - over 6f- from five runs so far. Looks interesting trying the distance

3. LOVE TO EXCEL - Three victories from 5.5f to 6f. Unreliable but can win if in the right mood

4. BONARDA - Dual winner from eighteen. Consistent for the most part and can be in the mix

5. VELVET VIXEN - Yet to win a race after twelve starts but went close last time out behind (6) HIT THE TRACK JACK at Dieppe

6. HIT THE TRACK JACK - Dual winner over 7.5f. Very consistent in the claiming division and must be respected

7. AMETHYST - Two victories over 5f and 5.5f from nine runs. Is proven is in this division and has every chance

8. SHANGHAIZHENGCHANG - One place from five runs to date. First time in a claimer and first time this distance

9. GEORGIA DU RABUTIN - Never a factor in two starts in maidens over 7f and 8f. Best to be watched

10. DELUREE - Long time maidens whose last runs are not good enough to warrant support. Look elsewhere

11. VOLTERETA - Placed just once from six runs. Takes a serious drop in distance and is hard to fancy

Summary

(7) AMETHYST is already a winner over five furlongs and that seems enough to see her record another victory with only 52 kilos on her back. (4) BONARDA has been consistent for most of the season and should go close once again. Both (1)

Race 2

1. DIVA DU DANCING - A winner in this division at Dieppe over 5.5f two starts back. Flopped last time out and should make amends

2. KELYDOR - One win and three podiums from four runs in claimers. Leading chance once again

3. AMIATA - Newcomer by War Command. Stable is on-form so should be monitored in the betting

4. JOA DE GIBRALTAR - Has improved nicely with each run and looks interesting back on turf

5. VILLA ANABAA - Broke maiden tag on third attempt over 5.5f in a claimer. Disappointed last run but not to be ruled out

6. CAN'T HOLD US - Has failed to make the frame in six runs in claimers. Not a priority

7. KEPOU - Never a factor first time out at Marseille on fibresand over 7.5f. Down in grade so can spring a surprise

8. KISS ME FOREVER - One place from three runs to date. Is competitive in the claiming division and must be respected

9. LA FRIPOUILLE - Two fourth places from three starts in claimers so far. Can pick up some money

10. VIA CON ME - Finished last of eight on debut in UK at the start of May. Down in grade and can pop-up

11. STORM WINGS - Has never won a race from seven starts but always finishes in the mix and can go off the mark anytime

12. TEA TIME DESERT - Still a maiden after five runs but always finishes in the mix and must be respected

Summary

The consistent (2) KELYDOR was a game runner-up first time out for her new connections and should rapidly get back into the winners box. Both (10) VIA CON ME and (12) TEA TIME DESERT have been very effective in claimers so far but have yet to show that they can win. (1) DIVA DU DANCING is definitely better than her last effort shows and she should be given another chance.

6. IGNACIUS REILLY - Czech raider who was well beaten on his only start on French soil in March. Others preferred

7. LUCKY LYCRA - One time winner from five. Beaten 1/2 length in a Class 1 race at Maisons-Laffitte last time out

8. VIRKA - Broke maiden tag in Madrid two starts back. Runer-up in a Toulouse Listed race last time out. Player

9. NO TINC POR - Easy winner of a 10f maiden at Compiegne at the end of last month. Takes a big step up in grade

Summary

Judged on her last performance in a Listed at Toulouse one month ago, (8) VIRKA looks the pick in this competitive Listed contest. Alain de Royer-Dupre is always a man to be feared when shipping a horse to Vichy and (1) RAYAPOUR is certainly not going there for tourist purpose. (7) LUCKY LYCRA and the unexposed (4) LOR BLANC can also be given some consideration.

Race 4

1. MEASURE OF A DAY - Has been running well over the fences this season. Hard to assess on return to the flat

2. TEMPLE BOY - Five time winner from 11f to 13f. Not so effective recently and needs to reaffirm

5. JOLIE STORM - Effective last winter on fibresand. Not so bright recently but showed some progress at Lyon in most recent start

6. QUAI DE JEMMAPES - Enjoyed a productuve 2018 season but not up to the task this year and looks hard to make a case for

7. VEAKALTO - Has long been struggling with form and is unlikely to garner much support

8. MAN OF LETTERS - Comes in on the back of two solid efforts in claimers. Is proven this distance and has strong claims

9. MENARDAIS - Thirteen time winner from 63 including once over 1m4f. Flopped last time out

10. SPIRIT LOUVE - Hard to fault in the claiming division in the provinces and should be given some consideration

11. MER ET JARDIN - Has not won a race for over a year but showed signs of resurgence recently and cannot be discounted

Summary

(8) MAN OF LETTERS has been holding form well over the past three months and looks a solid winning prospect. He can come on top here ahead of (5) JOLIE STORM who takes a step down in grade and should rapidly be back in the winners enclosure. (10) SPIRIT LOUVE and (3) NINIAN DES AIGLES look best of the rest.

8. SKALLETI - Has won 6 of his 7 starts to date including two over one mile and a Class 1 over 10f last time out

9. YANLING - Enjoying a productive 2019 season. Runner-up in a Listed last time out. Can go one better today

10. KAYENNE - Ten time winner from 7.5f to 10f. Not much room for maneuver in a race like this but remains competitive for place

Summary

Although (8) SKALLETI has suffered his only defeat in a Listed Race, he has since matured well and seems to be able to take a new step up in grade. He is the choice here ahead of UK raider (6) NEW GRADUATE who looks very interesting on the back of his runner-up effort at Windsor. (9) YANLING and (1) VOLFANGO can be in the mix.

Summary

Placed in Quinte races this season, (2) FOLLE PASSION is well marked and looks a solid winning prospect. The on-form (6) MESHA ONE is a very reliable performer in the handicap division and should have no problem coping with the slight drop in distance. (10) VOYAGER is one of the rare runners who has shown a little bit of consistency in his recent starts and gets a tentative vote to return to winning ways although there will be plenty to fear from (13) NEVER SAY NEVER if she fares as well as she did in her last start at Maisons-Laffitte. (3) ABSOLUTE SUMMER and (9) GLORIEUX look like two other serious podium candidates.

2. DEFI DE SUBLIGNY - Fair enough sort with good credentials but needs to improve from latest effort at Lisieux

3. CHIC ETOILE - Has had a couple of decent placed efforts so far this year. Fitter now and is barefoot. Chance

4. DELSA DERANGERE - Well tried this year and did win once. Not disgraced when fourth on penultimate start at Ecommoy

5. CAZIRIUS DE GUEZ - Seldom disappoints when unshod on all four, which is not the case today. Place prospects

6. CAVALINO SACHA - Well beaten in his last two starts at Vichy and Moulins-la-Marche. Others preferred today

8. BAHIZ DE FLORANGE - Seems to be better in the other code nowadays and was disappointing at Ecommoy last month

9. BILL BONNETIERE - Well beaten in all three starts so far this year and is probably best watched for now

10. ARSENAL DES ILES - Appears to have lost his way and is hard to make a case for him on the evidence of recent form

12. DOMINATOR BLOND - Quality trotter in the other code. Struggled in this discipline in his last two starts

and Laval. Stiff test here today

15. BAMBINO DU PRE - Has begun to show improvement lately and will have his supporters. Can be in the mix

Summary

This opening event on a busy day which is confined to animals aged between six and ten year's old might go to (13) DUEL DU GERS. The gelding has a very nice win hit rate and has been really consistent this year and especially of late. (7) DREAM will not go down without a battle. (15) BAMBINO DU PRE and (3) CHIC ETOILE have each way chances.

5. DOLCE VITA PHEDO - Unpredictable five-time winner who was disqualified in her last attempt in this code at Vichy

7. AND ZERO DIX - Has been running in and out of the minor money placings since winning at Neubourg in 2016

8. BARADJA DE NESLE - Won a Vincennes Class D race last month. In good order at present and is respected today

9. APODIS CHAMP BLANC - Poor recent form in both codes is probably reflective of his chances and can be overlooked

10. BARON DE MAJUAG - Has not finished in the frame since September last year and is hard to consider on that basis

11. DAYAN WINNER - Faithful servant for the most part in the other code and is interesting on his ridden debut

12. APHARENA DU KISS - Tends to perform well when not getting disqualified. Runner up at Nantes earlier this month

13. DU RHUM DES ILES - Barefoot this time. A winner at Pontchateau in May and a fair sixth at Vichy this month. Should go close

Summary

(13) DU RHUM DES ILES is the selection for this six to nine year old trotting event. The gelding has been disqualified six times already this season but has shown plenty when misfortune has been avoided. He has every chance if keeping to the rules. (11) DAYAN WINNER can make the forecast a good one. (8) BARADJA DE NESLE and (2) CRACK DE CORVEIL have frame claims.

3. CAME DU CALORNE - Not without merit but has been racing modestly this term and will have few takers

4. DUC DE COURTAMBLAY - Moderate sort with better form at a lower level and in present condition will have it all to do

5. DENOR VEETA - Dual winner whose recent form fails to provide any sort of confidence. Hard to recommend

6. DEESSE DIGEO - Has shown some improvement so far this term and could sneak in to a place in this company

7. DESSERT COMPRIS - Average sort that gave an encouraging account on return in March but has failed to build on that

8. DIVA D'OR - Tricky type that has done nothing noteworthy this year but is capable on her day. Respected

9. DOMENICO - Has struggled all year and has only won once in forty six starts. Others are preferred

10. CASH SLY - Placed in two minor events this month but faces a much stiffer test here today

11. DEXTER DU GOUTIER - Unreliable. A winner at Cherbourg on his penultimate start last month. More required today

13. CLEOPATRE DU PAOU - Hardy mare with respectable credentials at this level but recent form is not so good

14. DON JUAN DU CANTER - Fit and well and is holding form well. Placed in three of his last five and can be in the mix

Summary

A heat that is confined to six and seven year old's only. It is possible that (12) DIVA GRANGE L'ABBE will come out on top despite a recent couple of blips and a lopsided look to her form. She can be good when getting it all together so hopefully today is such a day. (14) DON JUAN DU CANTER might pick up the pieces if there is any flaw in the selection. (8) DIVA D'OR and (6) DEESSE

2. FLORA DE VILLARD - Runner up at Les Sables-d'Olonne earlier this month but faces better opposition today

3. FUSION HAUFOR - Quality filly that was a good runner up at Graignes earlier this month and can have a say here

10. FAVOLTA - Creditable effort when second behind Felicita de Lou at Vichy last time out. More needed here

11. FLEUR DE LYS - Broke her maiden tag in July of last year. Has blown hot and cold since then. Not recommended

12. FEE D'ATOUT - Decent enough on a good day and has won her last two at Saint-Malo and Craon. Leading player

13. FALBALA NELLIERE - Useful sort that has showed marked improvement in her last two at Durtal and Chartres. Consider

14. FLEUR DE VANILLE - Not devoid of ability but can be very delicate and was disappointing here this month

Summary

This is a lovely contest which is for four year old fillies only. Many have chances but the one that stands out is (12) FEE D'ATOUT. She is in terrific form winning her last two at Craon and Saint-Malo and can clinch the hat trick here. (13) FALBALA NELLIERE and (3) FUSION HAUFOR have solid claims along with (7) FESTINA NAY.

12. ENCANTO - Has won twice at Laval already this year. Faces a tougher test in this company today

13. EPIPHANE - Useful type that imposed well at Maure-de-Bretagne in May. Disqualified at Laval last time out

14. ENJOY DREAM - Can trot but very complicated at times. Not without a chance if maintaining his discipline

15. ERDEVEN THONIC - Has been in good form lately including a win at Savigny-sur-Braye last month. Not ruled out

Summary

Page 54: CABOURG - 19th July · 2. DJANGO RUDELANDE - Delicate but can trot when applied. Showed his form on Monday despite losing his action and with Gelormini in charge this time will be

A race for five year old's and it may pay to side with (11) ECRIN DE VAL. The chosen one has been successful three times from a dozen starts and a last time out runner up berth at Segra suggested another victory is imminent. (15) ERDEVEN THONIC will have plenty to say about that however and rates a big danger. (14) ENJOY DREAM and (9) EXO D'EPUISAY also make appeal along with (4) ELISA DU MOTTAY.

4. FILOU RIEZAIS - Runner up at Craon last month but was disqualified at La Gacilly since then. More needed

5. FAKIR DE CHANTENAY - One-time winner who has been disqualified in five of his last six starts. Unreliable

6. FLORES DE GODREL - A winner at Craon last month and finished fifth at La Gacilly since then. Tougher test today

7. FALCON DU HAMEL - One-time winner from sixteen starts who on recent form appears to have a lot to do

8. FOLONGO - Had been on an excellent run of form before disqualified at Saint-Malo this month. Respected

9. FAST D'AVEZE - Returned to form with a fair second at Sable-sur-Sarthe last time out. Place claims today

10. FAKIR DU LUPIN - Kicked off his career with two consecutive wins and has been pretty consistent since. Player here

11. FAKIR DU CHOQUEL - Finished in the frame twice earlier this year and won at La Roche-sur-Yon last month. Stiffer test here

12. FARMER DU MOULINET - Two-time winner from ten starts including one at Les Sables-d'Olonne this month. Place prospects

13. FEPSOR DE GUEZ - Tends to go well when he is not disqualified but his only win came back in May of 2018

14. FANGIO DU GUESCLIN - Had some decent placed form earlier this year. Appears to be back on form after a sequence of poor runs

Summary

(10) FAKIR DU LUPIN will take a bit of stopping in this four year old male only contest. The gelding was successful in his first two runs around the turn of the year and a last time fourth at Nantes confirmed his wellbeing for this task. (2) FLAVIO DE LAFRETTE carries the main threat while (8) FOLONGO and (9) FAST D'AVEZE are also noted.

11. GABY MESLOIS - Sanctioned in first three career starts but a winner and third in two since. Has a chance

Summary

This three year old conditions event looks tailormade for (4) GIBSON DU DIGEON who got off the mark in good fashion on his last and third outing which came over this course and distance earlier in the month. Normal progression should see him stave off the likes of (11) GABY MESLOIS and (1) GOOD DAY while (6) GREEN DU POMMEREUX has lesser claims.

12. CORAIL DE BELLANDE - Delicate sort with better credentials in the claiming division. Hard to recommend

13. ABEL - Got the season off to a good start but has since lost his way. Place prospects today

16. BIG BOSS D'ARIANE - Fair fifth at Plestin-Les Greves last time out. Races barefoot today and can have a say

Summary

Page 59: CABOURG - 19th July · 2. DJANGO RUDELANDE - Delicate but can trot when applied. Showed his form on Monday despite losing his action and with Gelormini in charge this time will be

This final race of the day will hopefully afford punters a chance to top of earlier gains in the shape of (4) BONHEUR DE JANZE who makes a lot of appeal judging on previous past form and a disqualified spin on comeback after a long absence. (5) CARAT BAY and (16) BIG BOSS D'ARIANE have every chance and will be supported. Also do not rule either of (3) COKI DE GRATTIERES and (13) ABEL.
