Check The CAA Football Pressbox each week for updated team-by-team weekly releases, two-deep charts, league and team stats as well as other “media-type” information. CAA Football plans to archive the conference’s weekly releases throughout the season, in addition to ar-chiving each team’s home-game flipcards in a printer-friendly format. Also available on the site are coach and player pictures and each team’s logo and helmet illustration.

CAA Football WeeklyCoaches’ Media Teleconference
The CAA Football coaches will hold a weekly teleconference for the media beginning Monday, Aug. 30. The call will take place each Monday throughout the 2010 regular season and postseason. The scheduled calls will come to an end when the final CAA Football team completes its season in the 2010 NCAA Division I National Championships. Coaches and a selected student-athlete will participate in the postseason calls if their teams are still alive in Championship play.
The teleconference will open with the release of the selected player of the week winners, a recap of the weekend and a
preview of the upcoming week. CAA Football coaches will be available to answer questions beginning at 10:10 a.m. (ET). The weekly lineup is listed below. Beginning Sept. 6 and continu-ing throughout the 2010 season, a featured student-athlete will conclude the call with a 10-minute interview segment at 11:50 a.m.

Audio files from each of the weekly teleconferences will be archived on The CAA Football Pressbox website shortly after the indi-vidual calls are complete.

Weekly AwardsCAA Football names Offensive, Defensive, Rookie and Special Teams Players of the Week each Monday morning during the season. Winners, announced at the beginning of the weekly teleconference, are chosen from nominations provided by CAA Football Media Relations personnel. The information will also be available from the CAA Football office via release as well as on the league’s website.
Annual AwardsAll-CAA Football First, Second and Third Teams, Players of the Year on offense, defense and specials teams, Rookies of the Year on offense and defense and Coach of the Year are selected by a vote of the league’s 10 head coaches at the conclusion of the regular season. The awards will be announced by the CAA Football office via release as well as on the league’s website.
