Outcomes for today’s workshop
O Mini-Corps tutors will be introduced to the components of a professional portfolio.
O Mini-Corps tutors will complete a resume outline with appropriate information.
O Mini-Corps tutors will be introduced and begin working on their personal educational philosophy.
O Mini-Corps tutors will collaborate in grade level groups to identify learning challenges that their students face.
O Mini-Corps tutors will complete the Migrant Pupil Summary
Norms• Make arrangements to be on time to leave

of you have gathered artifacts, work samples, SMART goals, received awards, etc.
O Creating a professional portfolio is an ongoing process that can be updated on a yearly basis to show your latest achievements.

O Focus on making it look professional.

O Once you have written your resume you can expand and showcase the terms you listed in your portfolio
Resumes Do’sO Make it easy to read. It’s a summary
not autobiography.O One page ideal-two maximum
(based on your experience).O Neatness counts. Use quality paper if
possible.
Resume Don’tsO No pictures of yourself-no matter
how beautiful you are.O Use standard size paper (quality)-
beige or white.O Be realistic about your resume. It
