Osborne No. 155Six tube punch made with tubes 0, 1, 2, 3, 5 & 7. This punch is known as

the best Revolving Punch made. The frame is made of forged steel, highly

polished. Cutting tubes are turned from special carbon tool steel and

threaded to allow easy replacement. Each tube is individually hardened.

The throat distance from the cutting tube to the back of jaw is 1 1/2". Weight

each is 14 oz.

Osborne No. 153Forged steel frame. Highly polished. Fitted with replaceable screw tubes.

The reach or distance from the cutting tube to the back of jaw is 1 1/2". Made

in sizes 000 to 10. Weight each 14 oz.

Osborne No. 223A fine quality pressed frame revolving punch with drive tubes. All tubes are

heat treated to give long wear. Furnished with tubes sizes: 0 (5/64"),

1 (3/32"), 2 (7/64"), 3 (1/8"), 4 (5/32") & 6 (3/16"). Packaged on hang up

blister packed board 11" x 4".

Metric stock sizes shown below:

Osborne No. 149Osborne arch punches are drop forged in one piece from the finest special

carbon steel in sizes from 1/8" to 2 1/8" diameter. Larger sizes are made with

our properly engineered two piece welded construction. A unique feature of

the Osborne arch punch is the inside taper which permits the punchings to

clear easily through the barrel. Punches have fully polished barrel.

The cutting edge is fully hardened all the way through and properly finished

to provide long use trouble free punching. There is no other Hollow Punch that

can compare.

These punches should be used on a wood or plastic cutting block or the Osborne No. #603 Cutting pad. The use of an Osbornewooden or rawhide mallet or rawhide maul is recommended. Steel hammers are not recommended.

Osborne No. K-156This handy and versatile kit contains threaded handle with self-centeringpointed plunger. The threaded handle will acommodate nine inter-change-able threaded cutting tubes. CUTTING PADOsborne No. 603

Made of a special formula resilient vinyl plastic, these tough cutting padsare ideal for use with Osborne Punches. They are long wearing and canbe used on both sides. Cutting pads should be used on a solid base forbest results. The self-healing surface absorbs cuts and helps preventscars from forming on the smooth face of the pad.

Choose the setter with a hole diameter slightly larger than the rivet beingset. Sizes for #170 correspond with popular 8, 9 and 10 copper rivets. Forother size rivets, use table below to determine proper size of #169 RivetSetter. Push the rivet through the hole then turn the material over. Placeburr on rivet, then use the rivet setting tool's straight hole to drive the burrdown tight against the material. Cut the rivet off close to the burr with sideor end nippers. Do not cut off flush with the burr, but leave about 1/16 ofan inch above the burr. The hole on the side of the rivet setter can be usedto dislodge any waste that is wedged into the tool. Place the concaverecess of setter on the burr. Hold perpendicular and strike the toolforcefully, turning to the left then right as you strike. This spreads the endof the rivet over the burr, simultaneously rounding its end. A few extrablows from the soft faced mallet can be used to flatten the rivet end a bit,if desired.

Osborne grommet inserting dies and grommet hole cutters are numbered to correspond with standard size grommets. The dies areguaranteed to set the proper size and style Osborne grommets. Grommet dies and cutters should be used with an Osborne rawhide

hammer, wooden mallet or rawhide maul, not with a steel hammer. We also recommend our #395 rawhide hammers for this purpose.
